Here's a shot that I took with my phone camera this morning in the parking garage at work... ( the only one of THREE that was usable!), kinda lame.. but I think you get the idea of the color saturation and purity of these LEDs on the clock face.. and it's brighter than this in person... I'll take some shots this evening with my digital SLR. sorry man... more later today.

Update:

I just replaced the lower glove box lamp on my 04 G35x sedan with this offering from VLEDS... direct fit, great illumination with a clean white light! It fit perfectly into the bulb socket... no muss.. no fuss.. took like 5 minutes to do it!

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/G...-p6622390.html

it was $9 for a pair.. so you have a spare. check it out if you're interested.. great turn around time... 2 days from Washington State to Ohio. (USPS)

I'll have pics later today...<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

crap! I ordered the japanese neo wedge type B LEDS and they don't work. I was all excited on how easy it was to remove the clock too. the base didn't fit so I removed the bulb carefully and put it on the OEM base and even reversed directions...still didn't work.
any ideas?

YEAHHH.. you need the T4 base for this.. they fit perfect.. the T5 base is a few millimeters too much... same for the ashtray if you ever decide to hit that bulb also.. white T4 neo base.

ok so my leds work now...not sure why but it does. anyways when i was pulling the harness (alarm light) off, it broke! i somehow made this fairly simple repair turn into a problem. Has this happened to anyone and how do you fix it? I havent' had a chance to look at it closely yet. I just know that when my car is armed...there is no blinking red light!

If you're referring to the little harness for the single red led on the dash bezel.. yeah, I had a little trouble trying to get it off.. so i left it on and movedr the bezel out of the way so i could get the clock screws out to change the leds... sorry man! bummer!

those connectors can be a biatch.. feels like ya gotta be freekin' Indiana Jones to figure out where the "secret release clips" are for the connectors!?!

You do realize the clock light only comes on when the headlights are turned on, right?
