Installed a new float in the tank to fix my gas gauge, kinda worked lol.. I filled up and the needle didn't quite make it to the fill line.. The next day it hit full since the gas station is near my house.. It didn't last long and the needle dropped back down a couple lines below full.. I'm gonna take the other one out and clean it when I burn some gas.. I put the other one in a couple years ago, it must be dirty already..

I havent. Thats probably gonna jump to the top of my to-do list now tho. How difficult would it be to look inside the differential for an inspection? Would I have to remove it completely?

Unfortunately got a flat this weekend. Unfortunately the OEM jack bent on me (all 3 wheels chocked). Thankfully I wasn't far from home and family was able to bring my floor jack to me. No real damage this time, except the tire cannot be repaired it a sidewall tear. Gotta get a new one.

Oh they don't make that one in that size anymore. Gotta buy TWO then .

The new exhaust is wearing in really well. Some of the little bits of drone have disappeared with the wear in.

Drove it to a golf tourney with the spare on as no one sells this OEM size locally

Scorpio you need to take it off and get the cover off, but if it's just making noise I'd change the fluid and keep driving while keeping an ear on the noise for changes and an eye on Facebook for local used diffs for like 200 bux. My diff noise hasnt gotten worse in 10k miles.

I think I can take the cover off without removing the diff. Im actually suspecting a bad drive shaft carrier bearing at the moment. Ima put the car up on stands one of these days and crawl under there to check it out. Might have to get a stethoscope and listen for the grinding.

^While this is very true having Akebonos for 2.5 years before installing them is certifiably insane. I'm with Urban here all the way.
