Re: OCT-1 ... Open Track event (Buttonwillow)

Clint,

How can I confirm that I'm only signed up for Saturday. As I said I signed up originally for Sunday then went back and registered for Saturday once I read the complete post. I haven't heard from John or Aaron. I have sent three emails to ask them to confirm that I'm only registered for Saturday. Also is there a way to go to the Speed Ventures web site to confirm that your registered? I didn't see one. I wanted to confirm what car number I sigend up for as well.

Hey Clint thanks for being our Host for this as well, that is really great and very helpful.

Re: OCT-1 ... Open Track event (Buttonwillow)

Mike,
Denny's in Sylmar just off the 5 freeway. The reason the location is chosen [historically] is because that's the location where people from vairous cities will eventually converge. I'll fill everyone in w. a week to go.

As for registration ... you should have received an automatic e-mail confirmation from the system stating that you are registered for the event. My guess is you should have received two in your case. All the charges are done manually by the Speedventures staff and often time they don't do so until near event date. Don't worry, you should be fine. What's the name you used to sign up for Speedventures? I'll e-mail them just to be certain.

Clint,

Your correct, I got two confirmations. One for Saturday and One for Sunday. I signed up under 6speedg35sedan or Mike Jacobs. Let me know what I can do to help.

Thanks

I guess I'll see and meet you all there as I'll be staying at my buddies place in Visalia the night before. Looks like I'll be the lone NoCal guy coming. Can't wait.

Re: OCT-1 ... Open Track event (Buttonwillow)

Glad to see you and your NSX buddy in the list Denny. The charges are performed manually at Speedventures side and they have a list from me. If you were mis-charged ... it will be corrected accordingly, so no worries

BTW ... is your Modena friend still going to join us?

As of right now he has complications within his schedule that might not allow him to come. So we'll see.

Re: OCT-1 ... Open Track event (Buttonwillow)

I have my reservations at the Motel 6 there in Buttonwillow. Man, $30.00 bucks is cheap for a good nights rest and no early morning drive to Buttonwillow. Is anyone else staying out there? If so maybe we can get together on Friday night to eat or what not. I will probably get out there at around 8:00pm. I'm bringing a friend that wants to ride along on Saturday.

Hey guys it looked liked Saturday sign ups are full. Can you check Clint to see if that is true? What is the usual amount of entries per day?

Re: OCT-1 ... Open Track event (Buttonwillow)

How do we know what run group we will be in? Who decides which group we run in? Also if we find that we are doing pretty well can we move to a faster run group?
