On top of it nowhere does it state that ive seen that the oil must be changed by a business. This is bogus I have a couple reciets from my changes myself but she claims that wont even work. What is the oil change requirement interval when using syntheic?
There is no stated special interval using Synth.
My 06 manual basically says: Premium sched 3750mi. Under severe op conditions 3750mi. Normal op conditions 7500mi.

Hi... I had my oil changed today and it now appears to be about 8 oz over full... Should I go to the trouble to drain out this amount of oil or will it be ok as is???

thanks... bob..

8oz is 1/4qt = no big deal and won't hurt engine.

It's a good idea. Stories (including my own) about dealers not on the up and up when measuring/checking level.

1qt = 24mm according to the TSB on first page and if your dip stick is a 1qt per L to F industry standard....

Still keep an eye out, especially on return trips.
I got topped off once when I wasn't watching on a return trip.
When I was there to watch for official level reading, I was at full......again
Just some games to be aware of from some dealers...

Hello all,

Going in for 1000 mi OC test tomorrow. Any suggestions? I have an 07 6mt with about 19,000 miles and at 1000 mi and down about a half quart. Looking at the chart it seems I should qualify. Any suggestions? Should I demand to observe the readings or what?

Thanks,
James

+1000...be polite, don't come off as an a$$. Being a ***** only makes them not want to help you out with OC issue.
It's still Corp that approves replacements even if you qualify and it's what the dealer says to regional rep, remember that
