I see it as them giving back your $250 for what they owe you on something you never got, then giving you $650 for screwing up, basically free upgrade to the 18" rims and rubber. Which I think is the minimum they can do.

They are not giving $900. Guess I get technical with money, but that's how it really is.
They are giving you $650 plus the $250 they owe you for the non-existent VLSD.

For the '05 autos, the VLSD only comes with the Sport Tuned Suspension Package which has the 19" wheels. It comes on all 6MT's.

All models with 19" wheels from the factory, have and have had the VLSD.

they already came w/ it w/ the sport tuned suspension.. so if it doesn't have sport pkg then no VLSD right?

Wow this sucks! How can we be sure that our '04 coupes with the 18" wheel/tire package have the LSD? For all I know that could have been an advertising mistake that never got corrected. Is there a good way to verify the existance of an LSD?

Man I hope it works out for those who got shafted in this deal. Make sure you let the dealership know how pissed off you are and threaten to check the "very unsatisfied" box in that survery they give you unless they give you more than a measley $250.

I don't think any of us will accept that.

Some guys on the freshalloy forum have said that Infiniti has offered them the Performance Tire & Wheel Package for free to make good on their blunder. I think that is a pretty decent deal.

For those that are getting $900+ out of the situation and still want lsd, consider getting the nismo clutch-type 2way lsd. It's well worth it.

Quote: I heard there is another person have same situation as me. I personally want to have the VLSD instead, but they said they can't offer it. First, they said $250, then $600 at last $900. They also said if anyone gets better deal than this, i can call them for further action.

who should i call to get this offer?

ask the dealership for the phone number of the infiniti co. Then, tell them ur situation, they won't tell u the 900 refund first. They will say it's $250. Just don't accept anything lower than 900+ tax.
