Houston...... We have a problem.

When I pulled the car into the garage last night, I noticed it wasn't sitting quite right.
I did a quick measurement this morning before heading out to work.
It looks like one front spring has sagged 1/2"

Looks like I'll be doing a tear down tonight.... & checking into it further.
IDK where to go from here.
I sure wish there were more shallow drop options.

Yeah, you got that right.

....IDK where to go from here.
I'm not really happy with the other choices out there.

Something doesn't make since. Surely there's a logical explaination for this. I can't imagine the springs would be OK for 3 months and then just sag 1/2" over night...especially since it's only 1 side.

Yes that is so strange that one side would drop that much after that length of time, it was a perfect set up.
The drop was right on.
(It's going to be a long day for you until you can get home and rip it apart to find the cause )

It's gonna be a long day for me too, especially considering my 370Z springs are coming in today. I'm not sure who is more worried at this point?

OK, so if everyone pitches in some money to give Ian a day of pay maybe he'll go home early and investigate.

I'll donate $10-

With the rate that Ian is now modding, I'm assuming that I could never afford a full day's pay for Ian

Good luck with this Ian. If anyone can figure it out, it's you.
I'd offer a hand if I was closer.

Wow that sucks to hear Ian, there has to be something wrong. It just doesn't make sense that one spring would sag down so much after so long...
Hope you get it worked out

^ yeah, I can't figure that out either.

One thing I want to check is to see if the other one has twisted on the perch, elevating the other side.
...I doubt it though

I have a damn meeting that I have to hang around for or I'd be on it right now.
You can imagine how productive my day is, so far.

That dead hooker probably just slid to one side on cornering. Either take her out, or put another one in to offset. If you can't find one of similar weight, try two midgets.

..actually I think it's the trunk monkey.
He must have slid over to the wrong side.

...I should get some new tie downs for him.

Yikes. Best of luck Ian. Hopefully you figure it all out.

If you decide on other aftermarket springs... would you need to order new rubber mounts?

Yes....
But I really don't want to go down that road.
I really don't like any of the others available.

I'd have to give serious consideration to coilovers.
