Yeah, I haven't seen many if any G35S with the wheat interior. When I got mine, I wanted this combination - Pearl White with the wheat interior, and I wanted the X because of the climate here in DC, but I badly wanted the paddle shifters coming from a manual/stick shift car... I had to give up on something, so I gave up on the paddle shifters. Now I feel like my car is whole :-). I love the wheat/wood trim combo.

 

I'm not sure what the part number is, but it's going to be very close to the black paddle shifter part number. If you can find an Infiniti parts place online and search for that part number, you may be able to find the wheat one. I ordered it from Jason at Riverside. While he's no longer there, I think Tony at Riverside can help you with it. Please note though that the trim cover was on back order, and it took me 1.5 months to get it.

I just purchased the paddle set from Tony@riversideinfinity and had them installed there. They did a nice job. Now I have a G35x with paddle shifters! The dealer also replaced my rear sport tires and split seven spoke wheel with matching front set at no cost. Great after sales service and Tony is really good to deal with. I highly recommend dealing with him and Riverside Infinity.

 

Ordered these from Tony and they accidentally shipped them to me (I was gonna go pick them up) so I installed those today. It was really simple on the install except that I didn't realize how long of an extension I needed for the 19mm socket. So I ended up doing this 1 1/2 times being that I took out the airbag and got stuck, place everything back together and drove to my friend's shop, borrowed the wrench with the long extension, and did the install in the parking lot. Having lots of fun for the rest of the day.

 

Just got the parts from tony and installed today... Took about 30 mins, thanks for the write up and the parts from tony. Good times!

I was at my dealer recently and they told me they had no idea that this is even possible. I was highly disappointed, since mine is just a lease and I thought this was an easy mod to be done. ~_~

 

not surprising, NO ONE had any idea this was possible until it was discovered

 

What makes you think this isn't an easy mod? This is probably one of the EASIEST mods you can ever do. In fact, I can't think of another true mod that's easier.

For $200 and about 1/2 hr - 1 hr depending on how meticulous and careful you are, you will have paddle shifters that were designed by Infiniti specifically for your car.

Don't be disappointed. Just order them and put them on. I'm sure when the lease is up, you can easily sell the paddle shifters for at least $100 used. It's not like these things wear out over time.

 

Thank you man, since it is a lease. I just didn't want to do it myself and have the dealer do it. I was informed by a friend to go to another dealer in the area. Hopefully they will do it for me.

 

do it yourself and save ~100 bucks or whatever they are charging... I'm no mechanic but it was really easy to do with the DIY write up that's posted... I took mine out and put it in again, and literally took me 10-15 minutes to do the second time...

 

Do you guys know any place where I can get the paddle shifters installed in and around Tacoma, Seattle or Portland area ? ... I went to the dealer at Tacoma and he wont touch it...I figured I would get it installed somewhere else... Can you guys plz help.....Btw...thanks tony...I got the paddle shifters.
