Hey, does anyone know if I have to reapply this BullyDog program if I do an ECU reset?

ring, ring.....hello, Bully Dog tech?
What's the scoop on your Nissan product on MT cars?
"Tech support... Carl here."

me - so Carl, are there any issues with the BD on an 08 G35 with MT?

Carl - absolutely none, I would recommend an upload & then call us for the right software.
It might take a week - 10 days if a custom file is needed.

me - great! .....so Carl, in addition to the tune, will this improve the throttle lag on tip in?

Carl - ...haven't actually driven one, but yeah, it definitely changes the throttle.

LOL...

People with absolutely no interest in spending money on such mods don't make calls like that.

See you at the next BullyDog members only club meeting!

Any more dyno numbers out there for sharing besides kendroz's? Preferably a clean set 'with versus without' BullyDog tuning?

I'm guessing the BD can't be lent around, can it? I wouldn't mind doing a dyno.

It keeps your "product #" or whatever you wanna call it (your ecu id) in the BD. If you get someones they have to go back to stock first before you can use it.

Not yet! But I got my car back yesterday with a complete new engine including new cats. They also replaced the wiring harnesses for the engine and the tranny. Of course I checked to see if the bully dog flash was there but it wasn't so I immediately updated the ecu with the 1.2.2F bully dog update. Everything is swell as of now. The service manager told me to break the engine in properly. Not to drive over 65 Mph and not to gun it. So far I have been averaging 20 Mpg and I have logged 178 miles to date. I have to bring the car back once I reach 1K miles so they can check the integrity of the engine.

Great news..

FWIW, I'd remove the tune for the 1K mile check,
they will likely be looking at the ECU.
I'd even consider removing it now, during break in, until the check.

Glad to hear it all worked out.. Just break it in and them hit the dyno.

I was thinking about that prior to going back for the 1K check up. I feel that It would be good for the car to remain on the BullyDog flash so the ECU don't have to flip flop from the different Maps. This will give the engine an even break-in on the Bully Dog flash, being that the engine is green (New).

They replaced the old cats with new OEM cats. I am thinking about changing the OEMs soon but for now I am going to stick with them.
