Unhappy Why does my car sound like a Harley!!!

Soo yesterday I'm driving back home, doing maybe 30-40km/h and all of a sudden I hear a load sound like a Harley just pulled up next to me.

I look around trying to see where the noise is coming from and then realise it's my car , drove back home doing 5mp/h so I don't wake up the whole neighbourhood (and even that didn't help it was load as F*%k)

So I look around and the noise seems to be coming from where the cats and engine manifolds are, I didn't feel any sort of jerks or anything coming loose when the noise happened so I'm confused as to what it could be.

The only thing I can think of is either the cats have come loose (they seem solid but I need to get underneath to have a proper look)

Or something went bad with the manifolds.

Can anyone take a guess on what the problem could be? Has anyone experienced something like this before?

One more thing, so far there's no engine warning lights.

Your location says sand dune, so I assume you are somewhere that rust isn't a major concern, correct?

if i remember right you had your berk CATs die on you a while back, its probable that the new cats core have also lost their place/dismantled thus the loud noise which is common when the core gets loose in the HFC.

Else it could always be something loose in the exhaust setup

Well I'm in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and it's a located by the red sea so rust is a big issue here but if it was rust it'll be progressively getting loader, the noise that I got came on instantly

Yeah I changed my Berks to Invidia but it can't be the core because it's WAY TOO load, honestly the noise sacres me....(I'm trying to upload a vid of the noise.)

I'm 100% sure it's not the core that's come loose, it's seems to be somewhere in the exhaust setup but what would make the loudest noise? I'm thinking manifolds

This almost sounds like you've got open headers now. I'd look for a snapped bolt or blown gasket in and around the manifolds. Maybe you've got a pipe that only bolted on one side and is gaping open a bit.

^ Sounds like a possibility

Here's the vid:

It actually sounds loader in real life, I didn't want to keep the car running too long because it's noisy

If you don't find any loose hardware or gaps in your seals at the joints, look at the flex pipes in the Y-pipe. Those can blow out too. Unlikely, but it happens.

Ah, gotcha. Didn't realize there was two threads for the same issue.
