Those size shouldn't be a problem.

 

So I need new tires and it seems the ideal size would be 245/35 for the fronts and 255/40 for the rears for the oem 19s. Someone recommended I get nitto invos but I need more of an all season tire, rather than a summer tire. What are good performance all season tires that are best bang for the buck?

 

I need to replace my stock rear tires.

I found a real good set of used tires. Yokohama S-Drive.
The seller has 2 sets but I don't know if they will work for my rears.

2 tires=275/40/19

2 tires= 245/45/19

Which one of these sets would be a better bet for my rear rims?

Also does anyone of pics of their tires with those sizes?

woudl it be okay to put 255/40s on both front and rears with a eibach drop?

 

I have 255/40 on rear with eibach pro drop (its np)-- planning on doing 245front 275 rear with spacers- Im gonna have to roll fenders but anyone know if 275 will def. be fine??

 

hey op look at the first page of this thread. there are a couple people using those sized. so i think it should be fine. only problems i see you running into is rubbing the tire

Just mounted the Hankook Ventus Evo V12's in OEM sizes on a set of 19" Rays and though I only tried a brief, 10 minute ride, initial impression is very positive with these. I switched from original Pilot Sports on my oem 18's (front and rear Michelins are actually pretty new) and I have to say these Hankooks in 19" ride as comfortably, if not more comfortably, than my 18" tires did. I suppose that's because of the lighter wheel and softer sidewalls of the Hankooks, but I am very pleased, and it doesn't seem to affect the turn-in or handling (at least yet). They seem to handle as crisply as my Pilot sports did. I have them set at 38 psi up front and 37 in the rear right now. Need to burn off the mold release over the next couple of weeks. Will report back more in a few hundred miles. So far I'm glad I chose these.

 

^Just mounted mine yesterday. I previously had Kumho ecsta's on(not sure which version), The V12's grip way better. Not a big fan of the softer side wall, but since my suspension is already stiff, this might help keep my tires planted on rough surfaces. I will test these out this weekend.

 

What are your pressures? Most of us with the V12's run higher than normal pressures to alleviate the sidewall issues.

 

I've been running FK452, 245/35 Front and 275/35 Rear for about 5k miles now. No complaint so far. A tad bit rough but nothing intrusive.

 

38-40psi
I will try 43-45PSI and see how that works.
