So you have not mounted the 10.5/11.5 Stagger what so ever...

This set up is not something you simply bolt on and go, it's going to look down right dumb with a 1.5" drop.

They need stretched tires and camber to tuck.

I knew they weren't bolt on and go I was just hoping to get coil-overs on after the wheels were mounted. And so your saying im not going to be able to run the tires I have on the wheels now?

Ok, that is not a ****ing tire measurement.

Translated to SOP

275/30R19 and 295/30R19

Are you saying you have these on the stock 19" wheels? Those are the completely wrong tires for even your stock 19s. They're only 8.5 and 9" wide you're running 12" wide tires.

You need to new tires or those wheels will not be going on the car.

The 275s can be used on the rear, the front needs something more like a 255/30

Sooo I won't have to start a thread...What is a decent set of front tires?
I was on 1010tires.com and looked around but it seemed like every tire I clicked on people complain about every tire I looked up.Just got my g35 as my first car and Im going to do my first tire change this weekend.I'm currently on Michilin pilot sport A-S Plus(225/45r18 FRONT 245/45r18 REAR),They seem to make a lot of noise but I saw on a thread (what do you hate about your g35) that noise is common for g35's.Anyways,someone get back at me asap! thanks! Looking to spend around 200$ or less per tire

Sup Yall,

I want to relip my front wheels and possibly my rears. current specs are

Work VS-XX
19x9.5+28 w/ 3.25 inch lip measured from the back of the face
19x10.5+29 w/ 5 inch lip measured from the back of the face

I want to get rid of my spacers up front and make them the same effective offset as the rear +/- 5mms but have some questions

1. how do i properly measure my lips? Do i put the tape measure at the back of my face where it meets the inner barrel or do i measure from the front of the face?

2. if i order from wheelflip.com can they match the factory polish on my lips i have now?

3. best place to order lips from?

4. If i order some lips that are .5" bigger up front, i will be at 10 + 20 correct?

5. what sizes are lips offered in? what increments, such as 1/4 inch increments? I would need something 1/2 inch to 1 inch bigger for the front. actually .75" more would be perfect.

You are asking questions without the correct information.

Figure out what you're talking about then come ask. I'm 100% down to help but when you're asking things that don't make sense it makes it very hard to understand what you're saying!

Tire reviews on sites are tough, a lot of those people are idiots lol

Michelin is always a great tire to stick with. If you can find Pilot Sports for the right price hope on those.

Some other options for you... these are listed from most expensive to least (in most scenarios at least)
Bridgestone Re760
Yokohama Avid Envigor
Hankook Ventus V12

Measure from the bead to the edge of the flange. So measure from the OUTSIDE of the lip and put the tape measure basically where the roller portion of the lip ENDs. The measure the distance from there to the flange.

Or, measure the whole width from edge to edge and then subtract a half inch. That's the regulation lip size.

2. if i order from wheelflip.com can they match the factory polish on my lips i have now?

Negative, your lips are clear anodized the wheels from wheel flip will be raw polished.

3. best place to order lips from?

Wheel flip or VR are your best bet

4. If i order some lips that are .5" bigger up front, i will be at 10 + 20 correct?

Negative, If you relip the 9.5 +28 to a 10 you will be at 19x10 +22

5. what sizes are lips offered in? what increments, such as 1/4 inch increments? I would need something 1/2 inch to 1 inch bigger for the front. actually .75" more would be perfect.

Without going custom you're going to be moving in half inch increments. Anywhere from .5 to 6" are commonly stocked. Anything larger will usually be a special order.
Bolded with answers!
