What would optimum tire size and brand be for that setup if I plan to lower the coils to eliminate fender gap?

wheel specs are 20x10.5 +5

I plan on running Yokohama S-Drive but not sure if I should go with 255/35/20 or 245/35/20 for the rears. I plan on slamming it and I have a rear spc kit.

What do you guys think would be better?

Will 20 x 8.5 wheels with 245/35/20 front and rear be okay? I know most of you guys are doing bigger rims/tires for the back.

I am just a casual driver with no intention of racing/doing crazy tight turns.

Help a noob here!

I have an 03 sedan with OEM 215/50/17 tires. I don't know the offset. I'm thinking of buying OEM wheels off of a 04 coupe. Can I put 18x8 +30 offset 5x114 with staggered 225/45/18 up front and 245/45/18 in the rear?

Answered my own question - I went ahead and went for the swap. They stick out a little, but I kind of like it - the car looks meaner. I recommend it if anyone is on the fence.

18 oem wheels

Did a search, but got mixed answers.. Got rid of old wheels and going back to stock 18's. Want to give my ride a better stance. Rears have been rolled by the infamous "Shane", so would like to know what size spacers I should run? Lowered but not slammed, on some Tein CST(350z) 20f & 25R, 25 all around, 25f & 30r? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Especially if anyone has pics, it would be very helpful. Thanks

Measure the distance from the tire/rim to the inside of the fender well (leave a couple or three mm for no rubbing) in mm, round down to the closest 5mm. That will be the size spacer you will need if you want a "flush" fit.

"Cheap" and "durable" are two words not normaly associated with the Coupe...

Look for a UTOG rating of at least 400, 500 would be even better. Then shop the price.

I need some advice on adjusting my camber and if i should roll my fenders anymore.
Im trying to go for the slammed look, im almost there, but im being told that i cant roll my fenders anymore and im already rubbing so i need to roll my fenders. Im going to drop the rear a little bit lower to get rid of any gaps. should i add some more negative camber to make sure i dont get any rubbing?

Hey illest,

I would aim for an even drop. For example, my drop is 25" from ground to fender. And if you want to slam it more, then you're going to need to run stretch with a little bit of negative camber. You'd be out of spec if you did it. Since I know you're at a 0 in the rear on 20x11, you might even need a slight pull in the rear in order to clear. If I remember correctly, when I saw your car at Sal's, it looked like you were running 275/30 in the rear on your 20x11. If that's the case, I would definitely stretch it, either run a 245/35 or a 255/35 in order to clear.

That's just what I think. I don't know what your budget is like, but judging by how fast you've put your car together, I will safely assume that you aren't hurting. That's my way of saying that you have "baller" status.

- Son
