I've got 05' "x" that is in desperate need off some wheels and springs. Can I fit an 18"x8.5" with +30? or should I do 8" with +35? Plan on running 245/45R18 and either eibach's of H&R's

Thanks
Joe

18x8.5 +30 should be fine, dont do an 8 but if you plan on buying these wheels why not get like 19s or stick with 18s whatever but why not wider wheels and lower offsets? i know you are on springs so you can go a little more aggressive than what you have there

What about a 19x8.5 with +22? Mind you this is on a G35x.

Thanks again

what im saying is why not go wider like a 9.5 +22, why the 8.5?

the 8.5 +22 will be like your rear oems but will push out an extra 11mm assuming the g35x has the same oem offsets as the rest of the g35s which are 8 +30 8.5 +33

The reasons I don't want to go any wider is, I want to run a nonstaggered set of wheels. The x's come with the same size wheels front and rear. My stock ones are I think only a 17x7 with +33 BS. I know allot of guys are running staggered fit on their x's but I still want to be able to rotate the tires front to back. Plus with the tire sizes that I'm looking at I don't need anything wider than an 8.5".

i am in the same boat as you right now....looking to buy rims this week but still cannot decide how wide for my X ...i was also thinking 8.5 would be good...my stock 18's are only 7.5 wide i believe..someone please correct me if im wrong

I am def a noob with offsets and car stuff in general but i want to make sure my rims sit flush without spacers

I think this is the right place for this question.

Monday Im picking up a set of coupe 19s Rays wheels for my wife's '05 sedan. In looking at aftermarket lugs can I use the aftermarket Rays or Kics? I like the look of the Rays Formula lugs but not sure they will fit a factory wheel.

Im new at modding her car as we've been putting time/money into my Land Cruiser.

drew, in order to be flush without spacers, you can always try measuring from your tire to the fender to get an estimate of how far it should push out, then use an offset calculator for the offsets

shfd i believe you can fit rays/kicks on the oem 19s.. i know for a fact you can fit mcgaurd lugs which are pretty awesome, not as nice looking but then again they are oem 19s

Hey guys, Im looking into purchasing some Enkei RPF1s for my 04 DP Coupe.
Will this setup clear my Brembos, and will it require render rolling on Tein S techs?

Front-18x9.5 +15
Rear- 18x10.5 +15

I'm planning to run 255/40/R18 and 285/40/R18 T1Rs

Thanks in advance.

Evan

Thanks EuroDre i have measured that distance and it seems impossible to fit rims with a decent size lip on the 2nd Gen Sedans...but on the forums they are everywhere...and most of the local rim shops suck and offer me rims with what seem like weak offsets and 1/2" lips.....so i want to order mine online from a distributor and have my card ready i just dont know about the offsets...ive read and searched...maybe ill just get G37 Coupe wheels and call it a day

well ALL sedans are like that.. unless you are on airbags or running a LOT of negative camber you won't get AS big a lip

for the stock 18s for the coupes,
the wheel size set up is 18"x8" +30mm offset
so if i go with any other brand that is 18"x8" +30mm offset
that should work right? (eg privat netz wheels 18x8 +30)

an anything less for offsets for 18x8 is better as it becomes closer to flush conditions right...
what kind of offsets for 18x8 will give a flush look? +15 or +20 ?
thanks

SO I am looking at picking up a set of the new Tenzo DC-5 Type 2, they are 19x8.5 +20 and 19x10 +19. Would these fit on my 2003 RWD g35 sedan, non-brembo? If so with what tire setup?

That would be pretty aggressive for a sedan, but doable, nt sure if you'd be up for getting them to fit. I'd suggest test fitting the rears so you can see how much work you'll need to do(stretch camber, etc) you may be ok with it but def. test fit first!
