i would like to know if it is possible to wire up an aftermarket alarm that i havve on this car to one of these intelligent key fobs, i want to just use my fob from now on

If you get a piggy back alarm like the ones that dealers sell such as a KARR alarm you can use the OEM fob or the Modded fob for your alarm.

Would you be willing to do the soldering and wiring if I purchased and sent you to the FOB? Approximate cost? If I had a solder I'd love to try, but alas I am out of luck.

sorry crappy iphone pic! but i did mines last night took a few hours but fairly simple only thing i soldered was the backing to the battery and just bent the copper wires to fit.... also ordered an 03 flip key hopefully I'll get that programed and cut and chip for a good price BLAH! lol

took my key to get it cut and programmed.... well the service lady ask if i was sure i wanted this done b/c the egg was not made for my car.... and would not work. i walked the service lady outside and impressed her that it unlocked and lock the G. so she cut and progammed the key and my flip Key... hell yeah to having spares!

cut 5 dollars per key programmed 88 dollars

Ouch. So it costs $93 to use the new key in the ignition? Wouldnt you rather just use your old key instead..?
