The other day i was driving listening to music fine, i went into the store came out and the sound wont come through. When its quiet i hear this lil puff noise that comes out of the speakers or something...All the lights work, the A/c is fine the Navi and audio from Hu don't give out any sound just getting that noise, im going to take it to my mechanic is there any specifics i should pay attention to? Thanks

 

what year is your car? your deck may have kaffed. Unfortunately VERY common

 

Its a 2004, kaffed?

 

Check the Bose amp out it may have blown.

if that don't work, i got an 06 head unit, with the blue tooth and all the oem bose speakers available for sale, but for the blue tooth i don't have the antenna

 

Man thats sucks I have almost the same problem. But mine has been going out started with the left side speakers going on and off and yestrday i noticed the sound was completly off but like "Star" said everything else works. I took my G to the dealer and they wanted $900 for the Bose amplifier. But they said it might not fix the problem.

So do i need the whole entire Stereo system and Amplifier from Bose?

As for Warranty, I Bought my G used.

 

If it is the Bose Amp. don't purchase it from them. I had mine in my 06 coupe for 2 weeks then had aftermarket amps, speakers and sub put in. I will gladly sell it to you. PM me if you need it. I'm going thru the no sould issue right now and it goes to the stereo shop tomorrow, he thinks one of my Alpine amps is bad. Hope it's that easy.
