Yes, but there's got to be somebody who can match that paint for you.

That would be a very hard color to match with the metallic flake it has in it. The Metra kit looks crappy too with the outside silver ears and funny buttons. I'm glad I looked closely and asked before proceeding with an order. Thanks for the help.

I didn't know that the willow had metal flake in it. It always looked flat to me. I'd still bring the willow trim in and compare it with the hobby's store's Testors paints, or try a local airbrushing shop.

I never noticed it till i read his post... but yeah, it does, the center console(the darker portion only) has flakes in it.

PAC SWI-JACK for Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood & JVC
PAC SWI-PS for Dual, Jensen, Pioneer & Sony
PAC SWI-X for anything else, maybe everything...

So the Metra Axxess will not work? From people's opinions this seems like the easiest to install/program?

Has anyone successfully converted the JDM kit to use a single din unit? I want the form/function of the JDM kit bc I want to keep my factory nav... but I would love to use the
JDM kit, install a single din unti, and add a small pocket...

Thoughts????

Use the Metra Axxess ASWC - no resistors to solder at all.

Heres mine, It is do-able and it works quite well. there wont be a gap above your HU when you do your install. My head unit came with a special trim piece i that i lost. Mine needs the extra clearance for when the screen is coming out.

The PAC will work fine, just not as easy to install.

Just wanted to be sure I was on the right track. I am planning on not using the Bose head or the amp, but keeping factory nav operational.
I have ordered the JDM kit from Grubbs

I still need to order the 70-7550 and the Antenna adapter. Is there anything else that you feel I will need? Not concerned w/steering wheel controls right now, will add later.

is there a piece I should order in order to convert the JDM DD to a single din? Will the pocket from the Metra kit work???

thanks!
