so the read coming out of the PAC? Like the ignition wire? Also I think my friend must have just blown a fuse or something because he was trying to get it to work and now it wont turn on at all... Any idea of what might have been blown and how it would have happened? Im seriously about to just break the damn thing

Yes, the red coming out of the PAC ROEM.

This is why you disconnect the battery when you work on the electrical system.

Anyway, there's a fuse box in the driver's kick panel, and _two_ in the battery compartment, test & replace as necessary.

Yeah I already tried the red ignition line before and couldn't get it to work but thanks for the help on the fuses

yeah, like wrath said, the red should do... you just need an ignition switched 12v signal. but now im thinking maybe its not your remote line, maybe its your amp's ground or +12v... that would explain the amp not working(hence the extremely low signal flowing through it). worst case scenario, you find the +12v and the ground and run your own

Edit: another thing you should do is go in your trunk down to the left of your spare tire(the plastic molding will pop out) and check if your amp's harness SOMEHOW came loose. and if ALL else fails, i guess u got a blown amp and part of me would think that the amp would be fused... idk, ima look more into it

See but the one reason I ruled that out was because I had it hooked up to the stock system and it worked fine.. also im not sure if it is the way its supposed to be but after I plug everything in I still have two of the white wire harnesses leftover unused. Am I missing something?

This really is something that is a major PITA to try and diagnose when all we have is your word to go on that everything's hooked up right and such. Completely disassemble the wiring harness to the PAC REOM, take it to somebody who's good at this stuff, and have them re-wire it for you, as it's probably something simple you missed, but you'll overlook it every time you look at it.

Yeah you're probably right.. ill take some pictures tomorrow just to show how the amp was wired up because it's a little different but ill go ahead and concede defeat and take it in for pro instillation??

alright well heres a link to the way that they hooked it up. They pretty much used an rca to wire converted then spliced the wires. I know its kind of hard to see. Also you can see the two boxes that didn't have a spot to hook up to
