No, there is no video of showing you how to wire red to red, blue to blue, yellow to yellow...

No problem man. One thing to note: It's still plastic, just aluminum "look".

Ah, I'll be sure to edit the FAQ section.

It works fine, but since the x930 has very limited voice commands, the axxess makes for an easier install with little or no loss of functionality.

are u using an aftermarket amp? if you are, it can be a PITA to find the wires, i can take pics of mine tho, i cut into my harness to bypass tht POS bose amp. if not then just hook it all up the wires from the harness should have front/rear, left/right, +/- in small print on them FL+ FL-, FR+ FR-, RL+ RL-, RR+ RR-. and then your head unit should also have which of its wires are for which speaker. pretty easy.

and there will most likely be 2 extra harnesses, one from your steering wheel controls for the stock HU, and one from your Navi(voice and mute signals to the stock HU)

umm... idk how urs is but the wires that you would connect to your ebrake(mine was pink) you should be able to tie in with your ground wire(black wire) and it should work. AFAIK the ebrake point you would wire it to becomes grounded when the ebrake is applies(also completes the circut for the ebrake light on your dash, making it light up)

Yes it will work. There should be specific wiring instructions for bypassing the video with the module. I bought the PAC version of what you had and it works perfectly.

This thread is epic!

I recently started ordering parts for my 06 6MT (with nav)... Unfortunately the JDM AC/Controller Trim piece is back-ordered for about 2 months now, and from what I understand, it's gonna be at least another month.

Here is my list of items purchased:

JDM AC Controller/Trim Piece
Alpine INA-W910
Dynamat Extreme 35 sq foot
Diamond Audio H600S components
Metra 70-7550 Radio Wiring Harness
Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control
Metra 40-NI10 Nissan Antnna Adapter
PAC TR7 Universal. Trigger Module
Sirius-Xm SVX100V1 Xm In-Car Tuner and Antenna
Power cable, battery terminals, fuses, speaker wire, rca's, etc.

Already owned:
(2) JL Audio 12W3V2
JL 500/1 Slash amp
JL 300/4 Slash amp

I'm still debating whether or not I want to build a box for both 12's or buy a new beastlier sub. If I buy a beastlier sub, I will most likely need another amp as 500 isn't going to cut it.

I plan on dynamating the entire truck and both doors. I may dynamat more depending on rattles and overall SQ. Anyone have issues with the rear view mirror rattling?

Can anyone think of anything I may be missing or suggestions for my setup?

My car is XM equipped with the factory equipment... Is it possible to use the factory installed XM Antenna or will I have to rerun the one included in the Sirius-Xm SVX100V1 Xm In-Car Tuner and Antenna package?
Clicky Clicky

i also followed wrathernauts bose wiring setup with the 70551 and grounded all 3 grounds but for the blue wire (amp turn on) there is no wire coming out of my alpine w407 to hook that up. are the bose amps powered even if this isnt hooked up. my speakers go kinda loud as is but even with the bassnturn all the way up there is slight/no bass..

According to the manual (page 68) - it's a blue/white wire.

I hooked it up on mine to be safe. Not sure if the Bose amp power is triggered by the radio remote wire or the ignition. Anyone know?
