Yeah, blue wire on the HU side doesn't give enough power to run the antenna, so it isn't used for anything.

Yes, and you may need to splice the white/blue into the red and blue as well, depending on if the subwoofer "ON" cause a +12v on the white/blue wire or not.

Ok turned on sub and hooked up the way you said still get alternating 0 and .03 on blue/white. So you think splice red and blue/white on the "car" side?

Also just to clarify. I splice them all together into a 3 sided splice to 3 sided splice correct. Ie red, blue and blue/white from Roem all connect to red, blue and blue/white on harmes to car?

Blue and blue/whites on the radio side of the ROEM remain disconnected. The two reds, blue and blue/white on the vehicle side of the ROEM connect together.

Glad it worked, but a workaround like that definitely shouldn't be necessary.

Got a metra kit and didn't realise the popup screen fits so badly in it.
Do you know where I can find the storage box to replace the screen?

Thanks!!

If you do the modifications in the video linked in the FAQs portion, it'll fit fine, otherwise, return the metra kit and buy the JDM, it'll fit right with the screen, if you want to keep the screen. If you're wanting to get rid of the screen entirely, Grubb's Infiniti is probably the best source for the cubby.

Thanks for that! Ordered a pocket from the Infiniti garage.

Any experience with the Metra kit's AC controls?
It mostly works, can control rear and front defoggers, AC on/off speed of fan, but I cannot control the temperature??

Also found with the rim of the Metra kit, that you cannot use the metal frame around the back and have to use some flimsy plastic bit to hold it in place on the top...

Metra kit controls everything just like stock, just the buttons and everything else about it just feels cheap and not-quite-OEM quality.

Any opinions on pioneer's AVH-X5500BHS vs the AVHX8500BHS? They seem to have the same specs.
