Hi, i Installed a infinity 60.11cs component speaker set in the front doors. I didn't want to deal with the speaker molex and run speaker lines through to the after market amp in the back, so I decided to use the factory wiring. I clipped the stock woofer harness and spliced the green wire to positive and red to negative to my cross over. Is this correct? Or is Green negative and Red positive?



I am installing
-JVC KW-R900BT In-Dash AM/FM/CD Car Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth
-Infinity 60.11CS components front
-Infinity Reference 6032si rear panel
-Infinity Kappa One Mono Amp
-Infinity Kappa Four 4ch amp
-2 10inch kicker subs.

 

Yep, green positive, red negative.

 

Thx a ton, I have another question. I need to tap the harness in the trunk to access the speaker wires to splice so that i can connect them to the amp. Which wires are for the front doors left and right?

From Bose amp output side:

Driver door: Green+ Red-
Pass door: Green/Yellow+ Yellow-

 

Hey man, i know its been almost 10years but did you ever get your setup working? I doing a similar thing. After market sub amp and speaker amp. I used the speaker wires from the bose amp, spliced it and connected it to the new amp. Im having trouble figuring out the wiring with the headunit and the speakers.
