Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Ok, everybody sing along --
This is the thread that never ends,
It goes on and on my friends,
Some people started writing it,
Not knowing what it was,
But they'll continue writing it because...

Anyway, just which wire is that, pray tell?

You might think of including that info as an FYI in the instructions for the window mod. Just a thought.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

This is the wire that reads 5volts in the normal state and goes to ground when the key is turned to the unlock position. I don't have a color for it as I have no use for it

This mod can be done without taking the door panel off. Just pop up the door finisher that holds the power window switches and start CAREFULLY probing each wire. Make sure you leave the module plugged in or you won't generate the 5 volts which makes testing really hard. Once you find the wire simply cut it and tape both ends. No more worries. And, you can still use your key to unlock the drivers door, but not lower the windows (You can still use the remote).

Go try it.

Now.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Well, I had planned on it happening today

But,there was a complete, total failure of communication between my brother and me. And he controls the website.

Actually, he went out of town with his wife for the weekend. Over the weekend I got quite a few modules built and tested. As I stated before there will be a very limited amount of modules availible at first and then I will have to wait on getting a new order of boards. My laptop that I had the board files on quit working so I am waiting on getting my new laptop (today it will be at my house, but I'm in Chicago). Some day this week though we will open the site up. I'll call my bro in a little bit and see what his plans are for the day....

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Is that the same as:

4. Cylinder signal -- This wire will read 5volts normally but will go to ground when you turn the key in the door cylinder to lock. It should be a yellow wire. THE POWER WINDOW MODULE MUST BE PLUGGED IN FOR THIS TO TEST, AND ALSO FOR THE WINDOWS TO OPERATE.

??

Description sounds similar.

Aluminum Pedals
BEL RX75 Pro Plus
K&N High-Flow
Other mods to be disclosed later.
WishList --
Z-Tube; Plenum; High-Flow Cats; Injen SES 1992C; etc.; etc.; etc...

No, they are different wires. The module uses the 'lock' side wire and the alarm mod uses the 'unlock' wire. The cylinder has three wires going to it, one ground, one lock, and one unlock.

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

OK guys, our site will 'officially' open up at 9am on Monday, May 24th. However, we will be posting the sight Sunday evening at some point (when we get it all figured out). You will be able to order either the window module or the VDC module or both as a combo. Due to our extreme low numbers of products I am only posting this once. Please do not post this info on any other site. We have about 30 window mods and 10 VDC mods availible. Once they are sold it will be at least a month before we have more availible as I am looking into better 'mass' production methods.

Thanks,

Kevin

We're in Ohio. But, since the sight is going online on Sunday evening chances are it will be open at 9am no matter what time zone you are in. 9 am was an arbatrary number that I made up as I typed the post...

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

ES, thanks for your business.

Everyone else, I guess I kinda lied, sorry. www.KPtechnologies.net officially went online at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, May 24th. It would have been on Sunday night like I had said earlier but we had some server issues and last minute things to take care of that we weren't expecting. Anyways, its open, so start ordering!

Thanks everyone,

Kevin

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

Yeah, sorry about that. The PayPal button isn't working right now and won't be fixed until tomorrow night. Once you submit your order the site will send you an Email and in that Email there will be a link to a payment address. Follow that link and you will be able to use PayPal. Sorry for the mistake!

Kevin

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

OK,being the dedicated team that we are we fixed the problem tonight. The site seems to be working completely now. There are still a few small things that need to be fixed, but considering the entire site is Flash based mixed with a PHP we are happy!

Speaking of dedication, Daniel where are you? It's been a month since you posted anything constructive in this thread.... (by constructive I mean a post that doesn't make fun of me at all or give me a hard time)

Time for bed guys,

Kevin
