Are the wires the same colors for the Coupe & Sedan? 2003/2004 the same also?

We're like a freakin professional company!

hehe, I couldn't resist. Seriously though, we are a registered LLC. We have a Tax ID number. We have business accounts. We ARN'T messing around. This is the beginning of something [hopefully] big for us. Besides me, I have partnered with my brother (suave business sense), and we have basically signed on 2 more people to do sales and one other person to help build the modules. This way I can concentrate on research, designing, and prototypes. Besides building modules for the G35 we also work one on one with customers to build custom alarm controls. We are currently working on a custom remote airbag system for a well known (in the Dayton area at least) show truck.

Thanks for the compliment on the website though, my brother put a LOT of hours into the scripting and PHP, especially considering he knew nothing about PHP before he started.

KKDude,

The wires do change throughout the models/years. For the time being a 'Wire Guide' is included with every window module. The colors aren't the important thing, its knowing how to identify the correct wire because you can never trust what a someone tells you the wires are. Remember to ALWAYS verify all wires before connecting to them.

You need Dan's skills? Does that mean you need someone to sit around and complain until you get around to doing it, then continously tell you you are putting it in wrong, then continue to whine because you didn't do it fast enough? If you need someone to nag you PM me and I'll send you my g/fs number, she is much better then dan.....

Good luck!

Seriously, Dan has put about 3 of these in and he is very good at it! Just don't let him cut all five wires going ot the module at once!!!!!!!! Hmmm.... better send you a replacement chip.....

Kevin,

I'm trying to find a good location to mount the box in the sedan. A couple of flat places look like candidates, but there may be interferences with the door panel when it is replaced in position. Any tips?

Also, you might want to remind people to avoid interferences with the window glass (when it is in the full down position) when connecting and routing the wire inside the door, behind the speaker.

Yes, advoid the windows!!!! I will add that to the install manual ASAP. On Ron's Sedan (Korz) we just left it hanging and then put the door panel back on. Once the door panel is on you can access the module through the power window finisher (the plastic piece that has the switches in it.) We wrapped his in some foam and never actually secured it, even though it would have been possible.

That's the answer for the sedan! Wrap it in foam and manipulate it through the window switch opening (which you have to remove) I had previously tried to pre-position the module with doudle-stick tape - but without success because of interference from the map pocket and the window switches themselves.

In hindsight, there is room just immediately above the speaker if you want to fasten the module to the door vs. letting it float.

Here's a pic of my installation of the Lock Actuator wire. Stay away from the path of the window in its down-position!

Kevin-- It's working great! (Still wish it had the door-unlock function for the sedan). You may want to consider adding about 12-15" on the blue wire if it's not a cost issue for you. All the others had plenty of length, but I had to splice a section on that one to route it to the lock actuator location (above pic).

Re: How about window roll-up via OEM remote ?

The first few I made did not have long blue wires, but the last ones did. Some people may need to extend the wire. Only the G needs this wire so long though, as the Z, Maxima, and the Mini Cooper can work with shorter wires.
