Richie FSB ?'s

I installed my bar today. In the instructions it says that the it will be difficult to get both sides of the bar into the brackets. Mine was very simple. I simply inserted the bar ends into the bracket and slid the bolts through the slots with NO effort. Is this normal? I did push the bar ends all the way down the bracket slots while tightening the bolt/nut on each side. I know this sounds silly, but I'm just curious.

i had to pry the bar into one side of the bracket after bolting one side in, basically compressing it. It took a little effort to get it to the lowest point in the slot.

I had to do the same, as above. Actually, I needed someone to hold the bar down, as I tightened the remaining side to the lowest point.

I wonder if the length of my bar is less than either of yours. Mine slid into each bracket without any effort.

Illinois has ripped the cleaning bug out of me. No matter what I do, my car gets hammered. My front bumper looks like the moon and the rear has been tagged by two seperate people who slipped off their brake pedal while at a red light. I hate the north!
