Bushings

Hey Davidoff,

Hey dude, how much would you charge to change the bushings or compression rods? I live in Montreal too.

the only thing you might have a problem with is the ball joint nut ,
but it`s an easy job and can easily be done with basic tools
: sockets , hammer , a torch might be good for you if you have no air gun ,

i have to change it on my dad`s car ill try to snap some pics

but if you have any questions just call me : 514 839 3283 David

dude if you could drive to my house lol ill do it for you for free it`s really nothing

Well I got the comp rods replaced. Sounds much better. Although I do still hear a clunking noise coming from the left side. Its only once in a while, going over medium to larger bumps, at low to medium speeds. Versus the comp rods where over small bumps when going slow.

What could this be? I'll be bringing it back to the shop this week for them to check it out, what should I expect?
Thanks!!

Go get your front sway bar end links replaced. That is where the clunking noise is coming from. My front left was bent and it made a horrible clunking noise at lower speeds through bumps on the road. Since my car is lowered, I decided to pick up adjustable PowerGrid End Links. Clunking noises went away. Its like a new car again.

Where's the best place to get oem ones. My car's not lowered and I don't plan to. Can I install these myself easily, or should I shop do it, how long approx should it take them?
Thanks!!

hi everyone, i had the same noise coming from my driver's side, have it replaced with new compression rod with ball joint cost me $345+ labor. i know its a bit expensive but at least now the car feels brand new(but who knows for how long in toronto's bumpy roads)

p.s: i dont have extended warranty on my 2003 g35 coupe, so pay as u go method worked. i got them fixed at agincourt nissan/infinti.

edit: the car is at 68,000 kilometres.

ive noticed mine were cracked on both sides however i dont get any creaking. I have tein basics on the car and I have an 05 w 34k on it... would this be a problem to have it covered under warranty? Does the car need to be aligned afterwards?

Is this mostly on sedans? Will my coupes INF dealer ext.warranty cover it? I'm at 45k now, covered until 78k or Nov 2010.

I'm betting the slight noise I have now will be back in 30k if I fix it now.

I thought that was wierd also. It could just be a typo on the TSB, but that's how it's labled. Have you tried asking your service manager for an opinion?
