Exclamation ABS, VDC Off, SLIP light all ON

ABS, VDC Off, SLIP light all ON and my car will not let me shift it into DRIVE, it is stuck in PARK until I use the shift lock key and put it into drive. All of these lights are currently on...

I know this has happened to many of you in different instances... I have done the searches ... however not many of you have had the "shift lock issue"

Also, in the searches nobody has come to a conclusion on what the problem may be.

From the previous posts I gathered these possibilities and assumptions:

- Replace the 10A stop lamp fuse.

- Throttle Body

- brake fluid level low

- brake pads low

- brake switch (intercontroler?)

- throttle body

- ABS system?

I am looking for a more definite answer. I would like to know if anyone has had this problem and if it has been dealt with. If so, what exactly was the problem?

If you took it to the dealership, did they tell you what the problem was? also, was it expensive to fix?

Last thread I saw with these problems with the shifter locked we recommended that the owner have it towed to the dealership. I don't recall seeing an update.

Might want to try searching and shoot him a PM. It wasn't all that long ago, within a month...

Just to fill you guys in on the actual problem... hopefully this will help people in the future...

After taking the car to the dealer, the Conclusion:

the problem was the brake fuse ... it also somehow short circuited the wires to my brake lights...

the cost: $328 dollars...

the wheel sensor probably needs to be adjusted on that bracket.

You need to get an alignment. Your camber and toe is way out of whack after the toe bolt and camber kit install. This will fix the VDC and slip lights. You're probably going sideways down the road.
