As expected, my hotchkis sways have shot my front passenger side stabilizer link (after only two weeks)... no big surprise, but it's just a pain in the a$$. Gonna install the revised endlinks on the front... hopefully they're beefy enough to handle the added strain...

Done a little reading here, but I have a question: Is there a difference in the Sport and non-sport sways? Will changing the sport sways to aftermarkets make a noticeable difference?

Yes. I changed my sport sways out with Stillen's sways and it definitely corners better and has less body roll.

Um they are great quality. If you are referring to the above post about the end link, IMHO that would have happened to him regardless of the maker he chose. It's the increased stiffness of the bar tha did it.

correct - end links can go out with any aftermarket sway bars that provide higher stiffness. one thing that hotchkis sways lack is the collars - no collars make them slide more freely left/right, weakening the end links. i ended up getting aluminum collars from mcmaster, but they sometimes knock. stillent sways do have collars, and provide better stiffness increase than hotchkis, percentage-wise.

yes, i have the newest model. it's expected because our OEM endlinks are not meant to handle the increased stiffness of aftermarket sway bars... especially if you put them on the stiffest setting. i'm not saying it's a guarantee, but you run a very high risk of busting your endlinks if you run aftermarket sway bars on stiff settings... on the bright side, endlinks are cheap (20 - 30 bucks) and easy to replace.

yea, i never meant to say that the hotchkis bars busted my endlink... just that any aftermarket bar would've probably done it. it's all about the increased stress put on the endlinks due to the stiffer bars

as a side note, I decreased the stiffness to low-med (hole 2) in the front (dont remember what the rear is set to), and the new OEM endlinks are holding up fine

I agree. When I bought mine used, they came with the collars and I've had no problems with them. I haven't experienced any knock that I can tell.

All Hotchkis bars come with built in collars and have 4 adjustment holes vs 3 (older models).

Swaybars are not about getting the stiffest possible setting, usually this results in poorer performance except for on perfectly flat smooth track surfaces. There are downsides to the stillens as well as they do not come with new bushings and reuse the stock ones or new ones have to be purchased. The point is not moot though because the new hotchkis bars with welded collars and 4 front adjustment points are a better buy than the stillens IMO.
