Most likely you have never been in a Rotary power car as well because theres a Beep at 9000 Reminding you to switch gears because you cant feel it in the engine or your gas petal. The engine is too smooth.

There are other Dyno's there, it proves that the mod gains are not really worth the $$. Greddy Turbo only get you to your optimistic "215 rwhp stock".. However it might be enough to do some good road racing on courses..
I'll give it sometime before the RX8 aftermarket gets a little bigger before f/i gets better gains. But right now 215 rwhp turbo'd is barely enough to reach stock rwhp range of a G...
13k reving, any car can do that. Just how long will it last?
I'm not saying my G is perfect either.. But I haven't had any problems first hand.. again I only had 2300 miles since Oct...
You can post as many videos of RX8's on the track as you want. Even GT4 pictures
If it's not you in the car, we don't want to see it
Most likely you have never been in a Rotary power car as well
Like I said in a previous post, my brother has owned 2 of them... I'm over at the rx8club forums lurking about new toys too... Tell me if you want more pics to confirm

Sure bring the one with 215 whp too, dont bring just the bad ones because I might have to do this.

I'd be worried about my G35 if I had a big drop in HP like that to the wheels. Most are between a 50-60 drop in HP. Maybe we shouldnt talk about dynos around this Forum.............

You can keep you 7000-8500rpm powerband and shift all you want. I'll stick with linear power delivery (ie torque). I'd much rather have a car that can get out of it's own way in the lower rpms while still having amazing topend. A perfect example would be the C5 Z06. It makes about 365whp @ 6000rpms and holds on to 90% of that power till the 6400rpms fuel cut and makes over 330wtq from 2000-5500rpms. That's what you call a flexible engine. It can basically accelerate hard from any given rpm or gear. I'd much rather this over some turboed banger that makes 350whp@8500rpms and 250wtq@6500rpms. The Z06 would still be faster in the 1/4 mile. The 405hp Z06 is capable of lower 12s@116mph bonestock as I've seen done at the track with a street-tired equipped 03 Z06. Now take my friend's 3rd gen single turbo conversion RX7. It makes 340whp all in a nice and light 2800lb chassis. With M&H drag slicks he gets 1.8 60 foots, he's getting 12.6s@110mph. Hold on, how is it that this RX7 with it's better power to ratio is still loosing to Z06? Powerband, powerband, powerband. The Z06 makes a lot more average power over it's optimal and longer powerband. Peak numbers are for bench racing.
POWER UNDER THE CURVE IS WHAT WINS RACES
But you're too dumb and ignorant to understand this. Why do you think BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Nissan/Infiniti, Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda (ie everybody) keep increasing displacement and adding things like variable intake manifolds and variable cam timing? One guess........to increase the powerband. They want to make it higher, longer, and more useable.
Once on a road course and at speeds above 40mph, the RX8 is a great sportscar therefore it can rely on it's handling to help it keep up with more powerful sportscar. But don't think for a second it's mad-tyte-JDM power is what's helping it keep up. Once on longer straight aways the RX8 gets walked hard. A car that does 95mph in the 1/4 mile is going to get walked pretty hard by one that does 100mph+.
If a RX8 rolled up to me in my G35 at the strip, I wouldn't have a care in the world that I was going to get beat. I know I've got the quicker car. I'll crush him from the start and then let my G's better topend performance continue to open up the lead. I've run two RX-8s at my track when I had my Maxima. I was running 14.4s@98mph and they were getting low 15s@92mph. Not exactly close.

speak of the 50-60 HP drop as much as you like. Even with the power loss (looking at the lowest Dyno you posted), The G still out numbers the Greddy Turbo RX8.

Man, you're making a bad rep for the 8 owners. It's like a new generation of Fan boys or something

Dave did give respect to the RX8. I do too. However, to the least.. the car just isn't up to par stock for stock engine power. There is nothing the RX8 can really do about it right now until aftermarket does further development.
I actually respect Integra's/RSX's more than Infiniti's/Nissan's.. but shh, don't tell anyone that

I promise this what I'm writing is the last post here. I really do love the G35 and 350Z, wish you could ask my friends what I say about them. Ok see yah in other post where hopefully we wont get back to this.

I was on RX8club.com and thought this was terribly funny. Some guy ran a 14.58@94.55mph in this stock RX8 at Gateway (St Louis, decently quick track) and he's treated as if he's some type of God. My favorite quote is:
Oh, that's with an 8000rpm launch no less
Apparantly running mid 14s isn't nearly as easy as CamelToe says because even the RX-8 owners call BS when these cars go mid 14s or less
Why would CamelToe lie? He's such an honorable guy.
Here's the post:

Hope this shuts most of you up about how the only guy that can run this car to 14.5-3 is ITO because he runs "race gas" and "powershifts" and "is a pro drag racer."

Second thing is that its pretty said that if we were so called getting only 170whp and 120wtq and still keep up with a 3.5L V6 w/ 280HP and 270 Torque. That's looks to me that its more SAD on your part if that's true. Now if you want to talk about achievements then we will, but you will get blown out of the water. The RX8 has 3 times the awards the G35 does and has placed 1st over the G35 coupe and others many of times!

You may need a little HP, Torque lesson ---->http://www.yawpower.com/tqvshp.html (He'll break it down for you people who think just because you have big HP and Big Toque, that you can out perform everyone. Doesn't mean as much as you think when it comes to performance!)

You guys need to remember that the RX8 was designed by someone that actually raced professionally.

Your vids are so weak! First, who cares if a car can GO 170+ EVENTUALLY...it's how fast they get there that matters. Two, your race vid is weak...first, all of the cars he passed had newbs behind the wheel just like the newb driving the RX8...that's why he had to have an instructor in the car and that's why the instructor told him that he passed a BMW without a point by...also, that instructor weas an idiot for telling him it was ok to pass without a point by...that's crash material right there...so take your sorry vids and shove em!
