Can't wait til the carbon shafts are done!!!!!

I have 4.08 gears and quaife LSD also waiting on the side to be installed......I know the gears doesn't affect numbers on the dyno but will the LSD alter my dyno numbers???

YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE!!!

Updates, the 5 group buy shafts are being upgraded to aluminum ends for max lightness free of charge. will add slightly to turn around time, looking at 1st week of Jan. if everything goes as expected w/our newly designed cf w/aluminum ends shafts, they're gonna build all later cf shafts to the same specs. price will also be going up to the $1300-1400 range.

even more excited about this, we'll all be rocking straight cutting-edge shafts. even lighter that all other previous cf ACPT units for the G35, for less money!

yup i spoke to bryan this morning and had a good convo with him. can't explain how happy i am...my girlfriend doesn't understand why i get so happy over parts for my car haha.

he told me that our stock ones weigh in around 40 sumtin pounds and these new ones will be less than 15 for sure......and said he wouldn't be suprised if we go under 10lbs with the aluminum ends big smile

definitely gonna do a before and after dyno

If I ever buy one of these, I'd much prefer steel ends for the durability. I'd be worried about the stresses put on the aluminum under hard launches and track days.

from what he told me, they planned on phasing out the steel ended shafts in favor for aluminum for future orders. also considering a friend of mine runs an aluminum shaft w/a Turbo LS motor build for drag just fine, i'm pretty sure they'll be strong enough for us.
