This was addressed to a degree earlier in the thread. Meatbag runs a CF shaft with the same ACPT core and seems to be holding up without any issues at ~800whp

1500 RWTQ is was I was quoted on the CF and Aluminum. I guess the AL are better than the steal ones.

the gains were off... but slightly.

40 RWHP@ 6psi not 50+ (This dyno sheet isnt like any of the 15 I have. lol) my fault.
same dyno, same day, less than an hour between the first 3 runs, CF install, last three runs, these are the best of each run, with each run gaining more and more hp

I am guessing 100rwhp at 22psi on my set up with the AL CF DS, they should ship out today or tomorrow BTW, deposits were ran on ThursdayFriday, balance will be ran today or tomorrow.

my car just got the meth and super upgrades.

we estimate 650-700 rwhp. I will with out a doubt do before and after CF DS runs, I am also doing solid rear bushings soon. (cheaper install on DS if do the bushings which includes removal of the DS anyways)

I bet ill make at least 100rwhp from this mod. I quoted above.

my buddy who did this 5 years ago said...

my low boost became high boost
my high boost became undriveable
look up the screen name ibkarlito or go to the hills garage dot net customer cars (MISTRESS) this car had nothing spared in upgrades and quality parts. my inspiration for building.

Pm me the day that your dyno is going down I want to see this. I'm going to pick up the aluminum one I will never see the numbers you are putting down, but 300 N/A sounds good if this mod will get me over that hump.

I'm at 287 now in my 5AT.

Do you have a solid diff bushing already? Have you looked at the ES diff bushings?

Well, I plan on getting the aluminum shaft soon and realistically I'm not expecting more then a 30whp gain at any boost level.

Are you getting it from ACPT? Mark are they still available at the group buy price and if not how much are they, also what is the aluminum weight compared to the CF?

PowerTrain was gonna build some(1pc aluminum shafts) and do a group buy, if people showed interest. no one did, so i'd say just pick one up from here>>> http://www.driveshaftspecialist.com/...um_Driveshafts look's like they just raised their prices though, now $475 shipped, used to be $380.

Thanks for the info I thought they were going to make the aluminum ones anyway. I will probably order mine from the above shop next week to go with my just purchased 3.7FD.

not sure of the name but im going with the solid rear mounts like (APPLBTM) aka NycQueens red G35 has. Frank seemed to like that set a bit more. However with more rear tire I get less side to side under load so.....

but I might as well do the Qaf LSD and NISMO fin diff cover and the CF DS at the same time to save on labor.

I can do all this myself but my two boys 1.5 and 3, suck all my time and for good reason. They are my world!

Ill hit you up.. the dyno might happen tonight with the upgrades and meth run, once the CF DS comes in Im shooting video for before and after, Hills Garage Promo YouTube type.

Definitly do the solid diff bushing makes the car feel so much better il warn you now though the hardest part is getting the old one out the new one went right in since i had literally froze it in a block of ice for 24 hours. SPL makes a nice one for around 130ish but its worth the money!

i also am putting in quaife lsd along with spl solid diff bushings, 4.08FD gears, nismo dif cover, and injected performance dif brace.

can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
