I second the woot woot......it irritates me that they left stuff out of the g35 that the z got.

I have yet to install my carbon driveshaft. hopefully within 3 weeks after hellaflush I'll get it installed along with my fd gears and quaife LSD

that's what got me intersted in looking into one piece years ago... it's funny because back then no one was interested, zero, nada... and I wasnt willing to spend the $1100 + destroyed OEM to make it happen.

Now there are boatloads of people raising their hands

I'm interested if the vibrations with the aluminum driveshaft are really noticeable.

Yes at Hills are you getting from Z1 or did you go balla with the CF? The AT shaft is a little shorter than the MT.

Hopefully it will put me over 300 or closer to it on hills dyno. I'm at 289 now on their dyno N/A.

Are you doing a before and after?

Frank talked me into the alum. from Z1. Gonna use the savings on sway bars. Yes, also doing a before and after.

289 NA, nice man. If you wouldn't mind, I'd be down to swing by and watch your dyno. I'm meeting someone up there this weekend to take his brembos off his hands. Were you at the CP meet?

No I was out of town again. When did you order yours? I ordered mine Tuesday and it should be here tomorrow or Friday.

I'm not sure when Suzanne placed the order but she usually just calls and pencils me in whenever parts arrive. I actually haven't had a chance to meet any of the NGC members even though I've been in the DMV forever lol

I'm not NGC either, but I know a few of them. I'm thinking about just track testing it.

I've removed and replaced my DS a couple of times with a 1 pc steel one I was trying out that ending up vibrating like crazy over 40mph.

I put the stock one back the car was very responsive with the 1 pc steel DS even though it was slightly lighter than stock.

I can only imagine what a DS weighing 10lbs less than the steel I tried feels like in terms of response.

stock= 31.75

1 pc steel= 27.5

Z1 1 pc Alum= 15-16lbs

Not sure on the logic how a DS will increase dyno numbers. Is the assumption the lighter shart will reduce HP loss thru the gears?

I can see the car rev'ing faster = accellerating faster = faster 0-60 times, but I'm curious to see if a before/after dyno will show any gains on paper?

Less rotational weight will slightly increase power at the wheels, I doubt it will be much though.
