carbon fiber driveshaft???
Did you let your wife or someone who knows your car take it for a spin?
I know when I drove ocg35's car before I moved I could tell a difference between the 3.7 and 3.5FD immediately.
I now finally have one sitting here waiting to be installed I just have to get the alum shaft now to install all at the same time.
Congrats again and GL at the track.
well, the early '03 sedans are already the lightest G's ever made(no the G20 doesn't count, LOL) i haven't weighed it but i think OCG35(Mike) has a scale he uses that i can get on, so i'll hopefully get on that eventually.
Yes the 03 sedans are the lightest. I know my car is a pig with me in it weighs 3720 at the track, but still runs low 13's.
wait guys... you are overlooking the very rare (no sunroof)... I'm not sure who else has a sun-roof delete model, but my 04.5 is... thats a bit of weight reduction...
Mark, you are welcome to use the scale anytime - just hit me up in advance... you should be pretty light - definitely lighter than mine (now that it has close to 80+ lbs of body work)... but I have old scale ticket from before body work so it will be interesting to see your current weight compared to my old weight. It's best to weigh with 1/4 gas (as you would be on the track)... I always weigh with the same exact items in the car and 1/4 tank - so future comparisons are always equal.

Here's a DIY someone did on a 993 porsche project (he used another 993 for his plug):

I still haven't even started making the plug...but yea, exploring the concept

I'm thinking about changing my front seats to lighter leather ones. Mark how much does your new seats weigh if you know?
