I understand your logic behind your expectations for N/A gains based on the turbo application, but please be aware that this is a very limited production/run part so less likely you will see a dyno. For many people, myself included dyno numbers simply make no difference considering I know what the part does, know roughly what to expect, and know what purpose it will serve me. Its equivalent to installing wheels that shave 10 lbs of rotational weight from the driven axle, I know what the wheels will do, I know the weight difference, and I know what to expect, whereas in comparison a completely new design plenum (again, just a random part as an example) might be more difficult to asses due to flow characteristics, etc. Loosing rotational mass is what it is, its less weight, it doesn't introduce any additional factors that might gain or loose horsepower, there is no flow design, or restrictive bends, or odd variables, its just less weight.
That being said, I would expect 10 - 15 whp max gains from these on an N/A car, but that alone will not tell you how different the drivetrain feels when driving or how much less stress the drivetrain or clutch will see due to both the harmonic behavior of the carbon shaft and reduced weight. For me it makes sense, I track my car and don't intend to go FI anytime soon, just making my car more efficient, lighter, and less abusive on wearable components.
As a sidenote I drove the car some more today and noticed that it takes less effort to accelerate in low rpms and high gears. Moving around on the highway passing ppl for example is easier to do now in 5th and 6th gear, def. makes me think I will see some gains in mpg, but that's to be expected.

If you were implying that the people "feeling" gains/acceleration benefits aren't credible and therefore you invalidate their claims, well okay I guess that's understandable - but realize many of us do track our Gs and have been modding them for years and several of us have tested various mods... point is, don't quickly dismiss a drivers report of a mod's characteristics - often times a trusted driver's opinion is better than paper.

I never said this was a worthless mod or anything, just that I don't think it will have huge gains on the dyno for an N/A application. Does that mean gains won't show up at the track? Not necessarily. And the only reason I brought up the dyno gains is because it was mentioned in a previous post by someone else.
I've been looking into this mod so want to see if it's worth it for me or not. That's all.
I doubt there will be any difference in the gains between N/A and FI.
for what it's worth I tried to have a custom slightly lighter than stock steel 1 piece made up because it was cheaper than the alum.
I noticed a difference in acceleration immediately and the car shifted firmer, but with the steel one I was trying out the car vibrated after 40mph.
Felt like you have a shorter FD with the 1 piece being that I have a 3.7FD now it felt even better.
Well I didn't like that vibration so I'm back to stock for now and will just spend the money and get one from Z1 or the driveshaft specialist next week.
I noticed a difference with the 1 piece steel shaft I imagine you would feel more with the lighter CF and aluminum ones.

with the CF DS I made 535 at 17psi meth 7000
with the CD DS I made 505 at 18psi no meth 7350
since then I have had belt slip issue. I honestly think it was from the lightweight Drive Shaft because its not my SC slipping, its the crank! LOL
so i just dropped some new pulleys on the Vortech kit...specifically the 926 motorsports low ribbed v pulley, to back off some tension off the crank... I am also adding another pulley to grab about a half inch more grip on the crank. So more grip less tension, dont want to ruin a crank bearing from over tightening the belts.
Dyno coming soon, maybe thursday or saturday. if not then early next week.
Ill get the 22psi comparison at that time, but if the betls hold up, we are going to go 7500 or 8000 rpm due to high speed bearings and running the Ttrim which is good to 30psi.
Also getting an NA tune for traveling with my family...lol (remove belt) stock like sounds...on NA Map FTW!

lightweight clutch, flywheel and drive shaft is 30+ lbs off the engine. I cant see a better mod for performance. also the responsiveness.
my buddy has had some super duper lightweight flywheel clutch (tilton maybe) for some time and as early as 5 years ago, I always referred to his car as a bike with for wheels. it rev from idle to redline is like a second.. its sick. sounds like a freggn bike. lol
cars have very similar power yet mine was having a harder time...same size tires too...only 20inch vs 19s but same width, same place too..lol
both cars where NA in the videos..many moons and colors ago too. lol
I have notice much improved response times.... i used to be able to punch third with wheels spin and handle it, now its instantly sideways with no predicatability.
I think as far as mods go this should be first. any weight reduction is always my fav mod. hence why I run the 370z rims on my G35 vs the heavy asz works I had on the car back in the day.

Alright, you guys have me sold on this. I'll be ordering an aluminum one shortly. Thanks for the feedback.
I know. Any minor vibrations will hopefully be masked by the torque converter anyways so I'm not worried about that.
I think a couple good, honest reviews would get this going... might want to reconsider.
