Just connected #26 to #43 according to this document and it works :-D

So I jumped inside the IPDM box the wire #43 to the empty #26 (because IPDM from the A/T car)

really hate to dig up this old thread but I wired the reverse sensor and pns switch and they both work fine, I don’t recall the pin numbers, but I don’t remember seeing 26 and 43. What are they for? Reason for asking is I’m having trouble with my car locking up the brakes because it sees slip and my AT check light is on as well. I can go 5 feet before the front brakes are totally locked up and the car just has a very weird one tire fire. I’ve cleared the codes, but they come right back, so they’re “hard” codes. Wondering the purpose of these two pins. I didn’t pin wire 53 in the ipdm because I think that was just to get the car to start, and mine starts just fine. Any help provided is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[QUOTE=cotten;7180004]Did anyone here reference the e brake relocation? Just seeing if i missed something. Does it just simply bolt in?[/QUOTE

its not a straight bolt in, but I used the center console to get an idea of where it lined up at, and was able to reference one hole pre drilled for something else, then I drilled another hole and used to bolt and nut. Mine reached fine. I had to all but unbolt everything involving the cables, and would’ve been easier to drop the driveshaft, because it’s tight under there and I had to spray the hell out of the cable heads to get them loosened and freed from their position in the clasp, but I got the old one removed and the new ebrake handle and clasp installed and everything bolted up fine. My ebrake is a little off, but it still tightens just fine and looks okay inside. I made a YouTube video of it if you’re interested in that, just reply or send me a message and I’ll give you the link

Sounds like you haven't flashed the ECM to 6MT yet and it's still configured as a 5AT ECM.

I was under the impression you didn’t need to flash the ecu. It just says you can use 5at ecu. Nothing says you need to get it reflashed. Guess I’ll send it to uprev. Thanks for the info

There's ways to do this without sending it to uprev, I strongly recommend reading a few threads on the 6MT swap.

It's probably cheaper just to buy a used eBay G35/350Z 6MT ECM (with the correct plug for your car, 3 total options across model years) rather than sending it to Uprev but if you do plan on tuning the vehicle later you should talk to @seymore4 he can probably shed some light on things better than I can.

thanks for the advice. I researched this for a long time before actually deciding to do it, and nobody clearly states that you need to reprogram anything. Not one thread states that it’s a necessity. In fact, they all suggest and make it seem as if uprev tune and ecu swap is a dumb idea, but nobody has stated the way to use the 5at ecu. So it’s all a grey area. I’m too afraid to ask the necessary questions because I feel like somebody is going to jump my s$1t and tell me to use the search bar, like it has all the answers or something. It’s hard to get clear answers on certain matters because you always have those guys that don’t wanna answer questions to help other people out. Like they figured it all out and are too good to divulge the holy grail of info, so I guess like everything I do successfully, I’ll just figure it out on my own. Just seems the car is going to sit and I’m gonna be in a casket at a ripe old age waiting for somebody to stop beating around the bush and give the the exact answers I need. Getting answers in todays society is like pulling teeth. I’ve done the hard work and the swap is complete, and you can’t even tell it’s been done, so I’m happy with it, but I will get a 6mt sedan ecu and drag the car to Infiniti and have all reprogrammed, because we all know it’s the greatest adventure taking any of our cars Nissan/Infiniti to the dealers and sitting through their bullshit and half the time going home empty handed because they just don’t wanna do anything for you unless you’re throwing a small fortune in their faces, along with three already dead hookers, complete with coke lines on their backs, and the tried and true arm and a leg, just to get simple things done. In all the babbling, to sum it up, I’ve been asking the same question for weeks, to get nearly similar answers from people. Either they know or they don’t know, but they always have to slide in their shot of YOURE an idiot, because they can’t answer your questions. I do everything myself because I hate dealing with people. If I had to ask somebody to hand me the salt and pepper, I’d have to wait longer, hear what they have to say, and deal with the consequences, when it’s easier to quietly get up and get the salt and pepper myself. Cut people out of the equation and my things get done much faster and better. Thanks for you’re help man.

You need to flash the ECU for the MT swap. You CAN get a matching 6MT ECU and install that instead, but then you have to get the keys programmed and if you're going to spend all that money, why not just spend a little more and get a tune as well.

You can't send the ECU to Uprev tho, they don't do this kind of stuff directly. I do tho Shoot me a PM I can help you out

I have changed the gas pedal and the throttle position switch 3x trying to fic problem no fix found. Anybody have any alternatives to what this problem coild be. Do I need to switch to a manual 6mt ecu with harness maybe chrck my throttle body, get a full reset on my 5at ecu? Any recommendations please

If it worked for 3 months then suddenly stopped then just something that broke. Start with an OBD2 scan for hidden codes, you can realtime scan for both throttle input % as well as actual throttle position %.

You can also pull the intake, key to ON position, and work the gas pedal while you watch the throttle plate open/close. Non rev-up DE engines can do this. Rev up engines cannot.

so I completed my swap but this is the issue I’m running into. My security light blinks and I brought someone out to program the key but they couldn’t program it. Key turns but fob key fob could not get programmed. I don’t know what to do at this point. Car cranks but no spark and all wiring is done.
