well i would say this would be by far the safest clutch fix.. cuz ur not actually effin with the clutch mechanism itself *turning rods or any of that other stuff u gotta do* ur basically using stoppers to cut ur travel distance short. Ur basically still doing the same exact thing u do when u shift normally u just don't have to push as far. the other clutch mod .. LOWERS the pedal.. this one doesn't it just prevents ur from stomping all the way down to engage the clutch. ... hope this answered ur Q?... if not feel free to shoot me a pm.

Hello,

I figure I ask here. I want to do this, but what exactly does this do? Does this make the clutch feel a lot less "stiff" or does it make for a smoother shift or? And how do I access my clutch? I am NOT car savoy, and I am not sure where to behgin.

when you release the clutch, you won't feel the car moving until the clutch is about halfway released. This mod just stops the clutch from being pressed all the way down to the floor, by stoppng the clutch at about the halfway point.

I'm glad all you guys like the fix..

ON talks like he figured this out and he's a great guy for sharing, because it's easy for him to share what he didn't create. People who take other peoples work and distribute it "for the good of the community" are at best communists and at worst thieves (or maybe it's the other way around).

Just my rant... do with it what you like

On,

Where do you live? I want to come over and make sweet sweet love to you...This totally makes driving this car 100% better. I HATED how high the clutch engaged, now its PERFECT. I LOVE YOU IN EVERY GAY AND STRAIGHT WAY THERE POSSIBLY IS...

On a side note, is there another "fail safe" way of doing this? I mean this is perfect, but I want to make sure the tape doesn't unstick one day. HAs your tape lasted you a while, if so how long? And thanks AGAIN..

Also, I would have paid $45 if I knew it would have worked as well as it did. Wow....

THANKS

It won't damage anything. I've had mine on my car for a little over 30K miles including race days at buttonwillow and at the drag strip about 4 times.

Is purchasing the D-Wolfe Clutch Kit a smarter idea? I mean, I'll spend the $45 bucks if I know it going to last me. I just feel the furniture slider technique is going to fall off one day lol.

I stopped making them for Gs and 350Zs because of guys like ON (used to be called yumi). Now I make them for Subarus and Audi.

Just my rant... do with it what you like

Are you starting $#!t again....jeez....get a life man. I never stated that I came up with it myself like you did (even though other people have stating doing similar ideas as yours before you decided to market your clutch "Fix"). I even posted a link to my350z where someone else mentions a similar idea (don't you read?). I don't think i'm a great guy, but if other people think that I am, that's cool. But if its credit you want, I give you credit for giving the idea to write this thread. happy?

Let's not even start about communist...if you think about it, you're really the communist. Telling people to buy your product and complaining that other people "stole" your idea. Remember that note you included in every product? "Buying this fix does not give you the right to post a picture of this online so that other people can see...blah blah blah." It seems that it is your way of controlling people of not exposing how cheaply your product is, you commy. I guess it does work cuz i still haven't posted a pic of your "fix." You probably would have complained even if I posted this thread without any reference to your "fix"...probably saying, "oh don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about...just buy my product. it does the same thing, but i tested it for two years before i decided to market it." (I get this weird feeling of Deja Vu....as we've argued about this same point before. )

Feel free to rant all you want in this thread...in fact I would encourage it...cuz it just makes you look like an idiot and hungry for people's money, you commy.

We've been through this before and I don't remember any good outcome from it (at least for you), so this is for you...

Well if you're still making them for other cars....how hard would it be for you to make it again for the G35/350Z? did you throw out the mold for it? lol.
I'm sure you can make it again at no extra $$ to you. I'm sure you would like to pocket another $45, right? I'm not complaining...its their choice if they want to buy it, so stop complaining...if someone wants to buy your product, then go make it, sell it, and quit your whining.

Or are you afraid to sell it to the G35/350Z community cuz you fear of your new buyers saying "Hey! This similar to what ON posted in his thread. WTF?"

Why don't you post up some threads from subaru and audi forums of you product, i'm sure there will be some people saying what I have said.

thanks....but i give the credit to redondoG...otherwise he'll just complain again.

It your choice to buy it if you want (that's if redondoG wants to make it for you....even though he said he doesn't make it anymore, i doubt it would be hard to make since he's still selling it to subaru's and audi's as he states), I can only give you my two cents on this.

If you bought some good double sided tape and cleaned the surface of the mounting points well, it won't fall off. Everytime you press the clutch, you're basically compressing the tape to the metal again anyways. Redondog's uses double sided tape as well. So if what you made falls off, so would redondog's product.

lol... i don't know about who invented what.. and i've read quite my share of this squabble here and on 350z lol but first off i'd like to thank u Yume *ON*. and 2nd i don't know if this really qualifies as an invention but i used to do the whole *penny stopper* with my accord and im pretty sure that wasn't an "invention". i just think 45 bucks for this... just seems a bit much for 2 bucks worth of materials, then again just my .02. Had mine on for about 6 months it's on there better than the way it was the first day i put there.

Wow, I wrote 3 small lines, you replied with a short story ... I wonder who's got a bug up her butt?

On.. you're an idiot.
You obviously don't know the difference between a communist and a capitalist (the commy believes everything should be shared equally among the community, the capitalist believes in rewards for effort and achievement).

end of rant

You, obviously. You only have 3 small lines cuz you obviously don't know how to defend yourself or your capitalistic actions.

Smart@$$.
