Do both sides, & it wouldn't hurt to do the Crankshaft Position Sensor while you're at it. It's even easier to do. Just have to get under the car.

Apparition - I decided to just do the passenger side as this is what the code was for. Just gonna hold off on others.

Car has been running great since new cam sensor installed. I picked it up from my local infiniti. I originally went to a Nissan but they would not warranty the part so I decided to go to infiniti.

One thing to note is this part number now ends in "D". The new sensor looks a lot different then the old one. Old one is all black and plastic like the ones everyone is posting in pictures. For the new one the part that goes into the motor is a shiny metal cylinder.

After much tinkering, it turned out that the passenger side sensor was preventing the car from starting. I replaced it with the OEM one and it finally started up. THe 2 other sensors I bought from Rock auto are still in place. However, the SEL, SLIP, and NO VDC light are on. Though it starts up now, its takes a good 3-4 or so seconds of cranking to start. My car used to start instantly before the sensor swap Is all this trouble caused by using non NIssan parts?
YES! These cars are finicky bitches when it comes to sensors they will only function properly with OEM, save yourself the trouble and buy OEM out the gate,
