It appears to pretty much has the same effect weather its fully stock or very modified.

I believe the most stock was with Klumzyees G. It was 100% stock.
Then there was Andy at Performance Nissan. I believe he was the most modified with headers, cats and exhaust. And he had the same (or slightly better) dyno results. (really good gains and a big smile)

But so far the best dyno results have been with the modified intake runners.

Right now im Stock everything as far as motor mods(no Z-Tube or K&N Air filter)
That's great if you can do it the same day.

Tony

PS I am also very curious on that HKS exhaust. I would like to see that dyno plot. So far, all of the highest dyno numbers I've seen performed were on G35's with the HKS exhaust....

I can't make any solid conclusions from that, but it does get me curious.

Well, got mine Thursday, installed it today.

Install was easy, as I had already previously taken off the plenum and put a Crawford in it's place.

I removed the Crawford, and used the stock upper plenum (with the spacer, of course) So I have the entire MREV mod on. Other mods include Crawford hi flow cats, HKS Ti dual exhaust, GroundingGear, Z-tube and K&N hi flow panel filter and some other things that don't affect performance

Was also going to put on my underdrive pulleys today, but I never got around to it, as I was maeesing aroud with wires under the steering wheel in order to install the KPTech VDC memory switch, which I might add, wasn't all that difficult, and definitly worth it to enable the VDC to stay off when you turn it off and turn your car off.

Honestly, my butt dyno isn't well calibrate enough to see much of a difference. The sound is a bit different, more threatening, I think, and I *think* there might be more ooomph in the torque mid-range. But really, I can't say for sure. I've always had a notoriously unreliable butt dyno...

Anyways, worth it for me, as I do trust the dyno sheets that have been put up so far, and I am kind of glad to go back to the stealth stock plenum look. Makes me feel better if I ever take it in for warranty work, and also for when I move to California in a couple of years and have to get it smogged.

Hmm, I'm kinda interested to see if the MREV mod is more adaptive to other modifications like exhaust. That is probably my next mod, if anything.

Don't know if this the one that they consider machined intake but i took a pic of it just so people know which one i used:

What makes you think they weren't?

I even asked the guy and he said yes that the runs were done in 5th Gear.

One thing though i think VDC might have been turned on cause once on the Dyno they shut off the car and then turn back on.

I must say, if the cars keep showing gains like the last two dynos, these G's will be quicker and faster with the MREV mod. Cartest says .11 and 1.2mph.

Well I ran 2 1/4 mile runs yesterday.....and well I let you see for yourself.

------------1st Run--------------2nd Run
r/t----------1.133----------------.613
60'----------2.180---------------2.103
330---------6.031---------------5.932
1/8---------9.157---------------9.034
MPH--------79.43---------------79.80
1000--------11.814--------------11.689
1/4----------14.074-------------13.927
MPH---------102.28-------------102.73

I only did 2 runs because I was in a rush and needed to get home. I'll do more runs another day. I will tell you that the biggest problem I had was getting traction in 1st gear. Basically spun 1st.Anyways I hope this helps convince everyone that this is for real. The only other mod I have on my car right now was a Nismo Cold Air Intake.

Nice runs, but do you have any before runs for comparison? There are already bonestock 6MTs doing high 13s. Without any other data, we have no idea of the improvement. You're trap speeds are really good, but it's hard to know if the conditions had some effect on that. What were the conditions like last night?

Because the 05 can't touch 7k+ without hitting the speed limiter at 145 mph which cuts in around 6600rpm. All the other dynos cut out at that point.

That's not necessarily true. The local dynojet is good till about 210mph, according to the shop that operates it. And I thought the 05 6MT's limiter was set at 155, not 145??? Could be wrong.

Trey, we are not talking about how fast a dynojet can suport. The G35 has a speed limiter at 145 mph. Which is around 66-6800 rpm. The car will not go faster than that in 5th gear on a dyno or the street. This is why you see all the other dynos that were done in 5th stop at those rpms including mine. This one actually made it to redline, it had to be done in 4th to make it that high.

Watch.

edit: 2nd one added.
