here's a sample but you can find better fit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Liqui...Q5fAccessories

I love my TwinTurbo. way faster than my S4 S/C G35

BTW, there's no tuning involved with the Stillen S/C kit that's a plus if the power gain is good enough for you.

Important

How many people here are stillen sc with a 70k + mileage on yo G regardless of stage? And also how has your vq been holding up so far? I have 64k mi on mine with a stg 2 and everything has been great up to this point. I just wanted to climb up to stg4 , but getting closer to 70kmi makes me a little concerned. What shall i do before applying the stg 4 kit?

Ive had my stage 4 installed for about 45,000 miles already with my total mileage of about 75,000 now. Only changed the supercharger belt once but now I have to change again. Other than that Ive had no problems at all.

Wow, you only had to change the belt once in 45k! That's awesome. I had to change my blower belt 3 times in the year I had the Stillen. I also had to change the other belts once.

Hey Guys! - I'm *hopefully* going to finally get my Stg2 kit installed by late spring. I keep hearing about the belts and was wondering if anyone had a picture or two to show me how to change out that drive belt.

I've heard it's "easy", and would love to be able to keep a stock in my trunk and -if I had to- be able to pull off the side of the road and change it out. Is it that 'easy' or is there much more involved than that?

Even a step-by-step 'write up' would be extremely helpful (not to just me - I would easily imagine), but any pics would be worth thousands of words too!

Thanks Guys!

MsA... Hows your engine holding up? Any signs of oil consumption with the stg4 at your 75kmi?

Nope no signs of oil consumption at all. No problems with anything whatsoever.

That sounds great coming from your side MSA. One thing i did notice on mine is that when i punch it for a little bit maybe through a couple of gears it runs fine but when im at idle after i smell oil burn. But thats only when i punch it. If im driving it normally its all good with no smells. Thats kinda weird. I checked for leaks and nothing. I think oil could be escaping a bit from the dipstick area. Im forsure purchasing a new dipstick. I also noticed that right under the supercharger it looks to be a little damped with oil over on the right side above the dipstick area. Shucks man.

Are the majority of you guys running the original stillen control unit, or have most of you guys switched over to an ss box/utec? Just curious...

I have 2 FX buddies that took out the split second box and running custom Technosquare flashed ecus.

Pulled out the 7th injector, ran larger injectors, in tank 255 Walbro. Both are very happy with how the kits run this way.

I see. I am in the process of purchasing a used stage 3, and am a little confused...is the ss box what comes original with the system or is it a different system all together used to replace the stock control box that comes with the kit? From what I understand the "original box" comes tuned from Stillen, whereas the ss box is a tuneable alternative...? The kit I'm buying comes with the split second box, but I dont know of anyone near me that can tune it, and I will be limited on time since I will be using leave to take posession/install/ship the car back with me to Germany. So I was thinking of sticking with the original setup supplied by Stillen but would like to know if that's a bad idea...Thanks for the help in advace BTW. Ill have all the required items for the thread once I get back and get this installed.

This sucks but i just made an appointment with stillen to return my 03 G back to stock. Im now looking forward to the HR G's. Stillen says they're developing a secret type of supercharger capable of putting out 15psi for the HR'S. I dont know if its going to be roots type, centrifugal or some other sssh. Now supercharger will be on craigslist including carbon fiber stillen hood for 03 sedans!!!!!

This is info from when I had mine two years ago...

The SS box was the same as the stage 2. The SS box can't be tuned, it is locked from Stillen. You could delete the entire map and re-tune from scratch but that would take a long time and lot of $.

Cool, thanks for all the info thus far. I think I'll just stick with the stock setup for now. The car has 70k on it now, no sense in pushing my luck.

Quick question

Quick question to all you fellow stillen owners, what oil are you guys using to best help the vq with this kit in the summer and winter? I'm on stg 4 now. I was going to sell my kit but then I teared and changed my mind. So far i'ved been using Mobil1 5w30 for both seasons. I searched and couldent find a specific thread stating this info. Your help is appreciated......
