All Stillen Supercharger Owners Report Here
It dosent produce enough power or torque to do any real damage.
that should be more of a downfall then a good thing. But a very true statement as i'm finding out myself.
Yea but once you get in a G with the stillen supercharger on, you will love it. You will beat numerous cars from light to light especially turboed rwdrive cars. But then there's the stg 4 thats a different monster from the stg1,2 or 3.
Well remember i had a stage 4 and my greddy twins even at 6psi would stomp a stage 4 light to light easily without breaking a sweat.
So i have been doing a lot of reading on the m62 blower stillen uses the GM guys push 15 psi safety without heat soak problem. That is what i have been reading but dont quote me on it. It just seems that 400 whp is got to be possible with this setup. Maybe a larger heat transfer I dont know. Headers and dual exhaust will help the air flow to reduce heat but then you lose back pressure. So bump it up to a custom 15 pound pulley. Push more air, larger injectors and tune the beast on the dyno. On other fourms the m62 pushes 15 pounds safety. But without the backpressure who knows what that pulley size would really boost on the g35. Just ramblin on tryn to keep the stillen owner thread alive. There has to be somebody on this planet who has done it.
Hey all,
This may not be the correct forum, but I am a proud owner of a 2004 350z with Stage 3
stillen supercharger. I am fairly knowledgable about the kit, so if anyone has any
questions I have had some experience with Stillen. My car put down more than 280
hp at the wheels on a MUSTANG DYNO in 90 deg heat. My g-tech pro tells me that
I am producing around 330 hp at the wheels with 0% powertrain calculation.
All in All it has been a descent kit, with an occassional belt slip or shred. There
does not seem to be many 350z owners running this kit anymore, so I decided to
look on the web and found you guys. Hope you don't mind.

A few shops have tried quite a few options and no one has ever made it. Feel free to try and let us know.
As for heat issues, I had the stage 4 kit for a while and it had all kinds of heat soak issues. On the dyno I did three pulls back to back to back and lost over 25hp by the third pull. This was with a big fan on the heat exchanger and a huge fan on the car.

Can you just run water and some Redline wetter water in the heat exchanger or do you need some glycol in the mixture to help lubricate. I was looking at larger heat exchangers maybe that is a step in the right direction. Also some electric fans to help air flow when car is sitting in traffic to battle heat soak. I am new to the supercharger thing so I am learning on the fly with this car. But I dont wont to give up on this setup.
Yes you can, I did in mine.
Phoenix does not have much for low temps.
A larger heat exchanger would help too. Hood vents and higher cfm fans would help a ton to battle heat soak.
