The stage 3 runs safe but is maxing the fuel pump and injector. There have been some blown engines with the stage 3. I would consider upgrading your pump now. If you are going to stick with the stage 3, go with a walbro 190 and if you may go to stage 4 go with a 255.

As for the boost, that is the first time I have ever seen a stage 3 run that high.
i agree with tim,i think the gauge is not reading right.i never sall 8 psi with my stage 3 and with stage 4 im seeing a max of 8.5 psi,but my a/f is between 10.8-11.5 at wot.

Hey guys....

I talked to Stillen and theyre now sending me the red pulley..... Gonna have it installed right when I get it and then get a dyno. I'll report back with some numbers as soon as I can

It seems that my air/fuel ratios are okay..... Its just I dont like the idea of over boosting when im not supposed to be.

Got my numbers in!

1. 2004
2. Coupe
3. 5at
4. Stock 17's
5. 298hp
6. 268lb ft
7. Dynojet
8. Stage 3
9. Greddy Sp2 mufflers (don't know if this counts)

Would I get more power if I change my cat back with this supercharger?

Got the gold pulley switched out for the red one. Boosting at 7lbs now with perfect a/f ratio

Yes an exhaust will help.

Those numbers seem a little low for a stage 3.

Hmm I thought they were average since im an Auto with no big exhaust mods. If anything I think my tq numbers are low. Im still satisfied with the supercharger though

Oh, you are an auto. OK, those numbers are good then.

Has anyone gotten any squealing from the pulley that actually drives the supercharger? im talking about the one sitting on the nose, the top most one. mines making some noise and i dont know how to get rid of the noise because its not a loose belt, i already tried tightening it.

mine has done that twice in 3 years, you have to replace the belt even if it dosent look worn.the belt is just to little for the s/c and it gets abused easily.

i just replaced it 3 months ago. i actually sprayed some wd-40 on the pulley itself and not the belt and the sound went away for a bit.

I have never had a problem with that one.

If it's not the belt it may be the bearing. If the belt has been too tight, it can cause the bearing to wear out prematurely.

so i tried taking off the pulley and its not even possible because then i try to take off the nut, the entire bolt rotates and so i cant get to the bearing to see if its worn

I don't think the pulley on the snout comes off very easily. I'm sure Sam will get to yo on Monday.

Are you 100% sure it is that pulley?
