Today I elected to paint her OEM grille black, without using the paint that is sprayed from the can
I used a Hentzen lvoc black urethane coating & applied via HVLP gun. I cleaned the **** out of it with methyl acetate, gently used scotch brite to rough it up, blew it off, cleaned a 2nd round, aces. Put it back in once it was no longer tacky for a pic, popped it out for the drive home. Gonna let it cure a day or two to be safe before putting it back in for good. Hopefully my Infiniti emblem will be here by then
If anyone wants the specs & DFT on this particular coating I'll update the post, cheers
I’m usually creative in my head but not with my hands. If I didn’t see that youtube video I would’ve paid someone to airbrush it but wouldn’t have got what I pictured in my head lol
This came out pretty close to what I wanted. This finish isn’t but it’s not obvious once it’s fitted

Turkey basted and refilled my power steering and replaced my oil pan gasket. First time using Permatex Right Stuff because I didn't have 24 hours for cure. Used the cheese wiz looking can and it was way easier to apply a consistent bead than using the toothpaste style tubes. Was spendy for a sealant, but also was ready to rock and roll before I was.
Keep us informed if you have any problems with it in the future, one of the many products I've always WANTED to try but was a little concerned about longevity.

Will do Cleric. Had a local engine builder recommend it. He has over 100k on his daily and off road yota tacoma that he rebuilt using right stuff for every rtv appropriate gasket. He doesn't sing praises of many products, so I thought it was worth a try.
Urban - hope it's not a sad story, but just a bump in the road.
Ended up taking on some water when the drain clogged in the battery tray/passenger electronics area. Drilled some small holes on the battery tray so it doesn't fill up, and cleaned out the clogged drain.
Car wouldn't start Sunday. Didn't think about that IPDM area drain issue I've seen here plenty of times. Turns out mine was flooded. Hopefully my little bit of work fixed it, and I tried my best to over dielectric grease up the IPDM to hopefully keep out water and corrosion in the future.
