That tint is so mild I would hardly notice unless you were parked next to untinted tails in the wild...but here in no inspection FL, I see (or dont see depending on light conditions) head and tail "murdered" black gs and zs on the regular. So flippin dangerous.
Im not a fan of super dark taillights myself.
Installed a StreetRays trans mount, $50 on eBay, uses 75a Energy poly bushings... While it works well I had to grind the hell out of the crossmember to get it to fit. The hole was also too big so I wrapped the bolt in foil tape to avoid any rattling issues.
Worth the $50 savings over z1? Only if you're willing to spend an extra hour to install...
Also got my first speeding ticket in the G, so no more nitrous kit for me per self-imposed restrictions....

Good luck with that. Double the speed limit and you think "conditions" warrant it as being okay ? I'd pay the fine, without going to court if that's allowed, and accept it.
Not saying it was "okay" but it certainly wasn't "negligent driving" at least in my opinion. It's not like I was speeding through a busy town or though a school zone or blasting through at WOT like I was on a racetrack...
I was driving within my vision in 5th gear on an empty backroad with good visibility and houses far offset from the streets, during work hours when nobody was home, and nowhere near the limits of my car (which passed tech inspection at an autocross event 3 days earlier).
Just because I was double an arbitrary speed limit doesn't necessarily mean I was driving negligently or even unsafely. I'd think people on a car forum would understand this....
Plus I'd contest it anyways just to waste court time and make speeding tickets less profitable for the government tax machine.

I actually told a judge that one time when I contested a ticket. I still had to pay it.
Kind of hard to argue with a radar gun... While all the dashcam footage I have of going 60, 70, and then coasting down to 30 around blind corners or when there are roadside hazards to my mind shows I'm driving safely, a judge (or any normal driver) would probably just say it proves I'm a habitual speeder, which wouldn't be an incorrect assessment. Live and learn, I guess.... Time to roll over and let the government do what it does best, stealing money from its citizens. At the side of the road after he gave me the ticket we were talking about the G and the autocross events I've been doing, he told me that if I had decided to run there was "no chance" he would have been able to keep up in the Explorer on the twisty backroads all around the area....
Maybe next time I'll take his advice if it's safe to do so instead of getting shafted by the long **** of the law... /s /s /s

We have main roads in a few places around LA that have ridiculously low speed limits posted. Normal driving puts u over the limit. Just a little bit faster and u are now at double the limit. Some places just do that to screw the drivers. It a very easy way for them to make more money. Bastards!!

Feel free to fight it. That's 100% your right to do so, a right that I do support.

Speed limit is a law. Pretty black and white. You got caught, circumstances or intent notwithstanding.
Your best option, if in a county where the courthouse is a club, is hire a local traffic offense attorney to plead it down with the DA to reduced speed over limit, or best outcome, an infraction. You'll pay fees and fines, but if lucky not three years of increased insurance premiums.
Where will you find such an attorney? Don't worry. If pleading is a thing there, your mailbox will soon fill with solicitations for service. If you don't get any, then it's not a thing there.
