After 8+ years with 20s I went back down to 19s. Immediate impression is that the extra sidewall made the ride a little smoother, and light weight makes the car more nimble in the curves.

Kept same tire widths so only change is the tire profile. Plus you can see the calipers better, lol.

I absolutely love the look of the Z wheels and tires. Meaty and mean comes to mind to describe the new stance. I am in the "20's are too big for a G" club and your results just solidify my thoughts. Fantastic job!!

I don't think there's any better set of wheels for the G than those 2013 era 370Z Nismo ones. Looks fantastic.

Tinted my tailights again since the previous one had peeled back on the edges within a few days. Removed the lights this time around and did a way better job of wrapping it. Used edge sealer on the ends too. I eventually cut out the reverse lights too so theyre not tinted.

Heres the difference....light smoke.

I've never been a fan of smoked/painted taillights but, yours look great. Good job.

I want to see it installed, my biggest complaint about the tinted taillights is people make them so dark. That doesn't look bad at all though.

04 G35 Sedan performance package. 70k Eibach springs and sway bars. 19 inch wheels. Plenum spacer.
Smoked taillights will fail inspection here in Texas. With all the texting drivers out there, reducing your rear visibility may look good but could be dangerous.

Ughh, my least favorite repair, the air conditioner. Wasn't getting cold air, hooked up a manifold and I had no pressure. Over the last week I had vented off the entire system I guess, hooked up nitrogen to each side and started spraying soap, turned out to be the low side service port valve so easy fix. Vacuumed for an hour, recharged, cold AC.

Most recently: motordyne iso thermal lower plenum gasket; z1 concepts 5/16” plenum spacer with motordyne bolt and spacer kit (don’t ask, it just works); ZEON RS3-G1 cooper tires all around; just bought beck/arnley tie rod boots as the plastic pieces of crap that were on finally degraded; installed brand new valve covers and gaskets.
Not bad since I’m only home like 6 days a month.
The car positively purrs ( up until I hit 4500rpm then it growls)

Heres the lights on the car. I just got my windows tinted too and havent washed the car yet, so excuse my fingerprints all over the windows and lights. I also installed my re-powdercoated wheels...AGAIN! This shop is about an hour away and I have already driven there and back about 5 times and they just cant seem to get the color right. Its supposed to be hyper silver but it has too much gray in it. I give up on them. Might look good tho when the whole car is finally black....we will see.
