Random Little Question Thread
Tune ups are usually every 30k.
need more info. How deep are your pockets a.k.a how much do you want to spend? Assuming you want to actually feel added power, Z-tube and drop in filter won't do squat except maybe "sound better".
The more info your provide the better advice you'll get. Budget, goals, future plans with the car......

Ztube and air filter will not get you a gain. The only mods proven to give you more HP are 5/16 spacer and some form of HFC/Test pipe.
Modern cars do not require a tune up. Nissan recommends you do you spark plugs every 105k and air filter about 15k. Aside from that replace things when needed like you fluids and belts when they show were.
I do my driveline fluid every 30k but that is not considered a tune up. Just a fluid exchange like your engine oil.
Now if you want noise makers consider getting Ztube, coupe midpipe. Axle back mufflers.
Hows it going, quick question, I have a 03 sedan on 20" rims and
My cusin gave me his 350z tein s teck lowering springs mounted on
350z Revised shocks. I was wondering if they will lower the car to much
And scrape due to the 20"s? thanks in advance

S/c = supercharger
Tt= twin turbo
Both will be fun but will make you go broke. Our engines don't respond well to aftermarket mods for a whole lot
Of gains. You can do exhaust, spacer and get a tune for some gains but it may only be 20hp at end of day

Wouldn't hurt to get a quote from a reputable shop. Hopefully he'll make an honest assessment on what absolutely needs to be "tuned-up"/replaced and what you can hold off on for a while. Otherwise just follow your service manual to help with preventative maintenance.
I mean, there's "no point" in changing your oil if it isn't due. There's "no point" in a coolant flush if it isn't due etc. Why change a battery if it's still running strong?
If it aint broke, don't fix it.....
Your plugs should be good till 105k. However, I replaced mine at 77k at the same time my mechanic installed my MREV2 and spacer since they were right there anyway.

Okay, So its no point in going to a local shop & getting a tune up, just ask them to replacec the spark plugs ?
Yeah, I would like to get power that I can feeel. The budget is negotiable I'm just looking for a basic list of mods I can add (probably from cheapest to most expensive) that I can add to give me that power.
