Fairly common.

Start taking notice to the brake lights of 03-06s on the road and you'll start to notice. Seems like I see more 03/04s with them out

Almost as common as seeing Chebby Silverado's or the Tahoes having only one DRL working. They seem to burn the passenger side one out real fast. If you've never noticed that before, you will now.

do 03-04 have the same leds as the 05-06 or is it a different part number?

I do not know, but some have told me it's the same and the coupes use the same p/n as well. Would be nice if someone could confirm

Even if they are the same p/n, could be a component issue...esp if the manufacturer changed to a different brand of resistor or diodes at some point. So it's possible 03/04 used cheap diodes and 05/06's got a different batch.

Or it could be simply because 03/04's are older cars. Who knows in 5 years, EVERY 03-06 sedan's 3rd light could be out.

I've got the same issue with my wingless coupe. We would probably get a lot more G's on board if a mod moved this thread to the G spot

A couple of people have mentioned TSBs... my dealer told me that you can only get a repair based on a TSB if you're still under warranty. Is that true?

If so most of the 03-06 G's would still be SOL...

^That's why we're pushing for a recall. It is after all a safety issue.
