I looked there today, and I did see the 06 Z changes and pictures... Something about yellow color being dropped, 3 new colors added... LED stop lights... cant remember what else... changed grill

I just checked again (56k connection right now) and the link is still there... did you look correctly?

Yes I did. I was hoping for official pics and info on the G 35, not the 350 Z

Too bad there isn't any weight reduction on the Z. Just more cosmetic crap and not more real power. They really need to FI the Z from the factory. They didn't even show the new colors.

Thanks for the link though.

Actually that thread read "Official ’06 photos will be online for viewing on or near August 17 at www.infinitinews.com. It is unclear whether photos of the Sedan will be available at this time (or, for that matter, if there are any visible changes)."

Werd. The Z is showing it's age. It was the shiznit and a great buy when it came out, but shortly thereafter, the STI, EVO, SRT-4, etc. have all hit market, making the "best bang for the buck" category to be very crowded all of a sudden. Unlike the G35 which competes in a "luxury" category, the Z is nothing special on the inside, so easily cross-shops with other vehicles.

The Z is just too heavy. I remember original estimations had it weighing much less then what it ended up porking the scales at when hitting the streets. Especially considering the old 300zx had all the turbos, intercoolers, hardware, rear steering, t-tops, etc... and only weighed 3287 lbs.

I was not happy with the fact that the 2005 sedan was advertised to have more power, but with it came more weight as well.

Obesity IS a problem in this country.

Agree with the disappointing feeling about the Z. Waaaaay too heavy. Put it on a track against a Z3, S2000, rx8 or boxster, and it is going to struggle - which it shouldn't considering the engine. For a two door coupe, I've felt the Z and G coupe just weren't fast enough to justify the inconvenience of no trunk, rear seat, etc, but as a sedan, you're suddenly a class leader
