Thanks for sharing Ketan, that is good news. I would happily accept an early delivery!!

2.) With the gorgeous exterior styling plus a stout engine, I don't need the best interior in the world.

3.) I have never been treated as well at any other dealer than I have at Pfeiffer Infiniti in Grand Rapids.

4.) I like buying cars based on my personal taste and I don't follow crowds. Plus, I don't need the cachet of BMW, MB etc.

Having said all of that...I'm still young and I may find cars in the future that I will fall in love with. For right now Infiniti has something going and they've got me hooked.

Nice post N50- I say the same thing regarding my '04 Coupe, which has been flawless at the 20,000 mile mark. Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater, FL has been great and allows mods to be done to car without voiding the warranty. Can't wait to see the '08 G35 Coupe released. Plus, Infiniti is excellent for tall drivers (I'm 6'-3" and have plenty of room). My head is hitting the roof or there isn't enough legroom in other brands all the time, it seems.

LOL, no Caribou where I live....just lots of deer and moose!

There is only one Infiniti dealer for the entire eastern part of Canada, and it is a 4 hour drive away. The good side to that is since it is 4 hours away, I don't see very my G35s where I live (or any Infiniti for that matter). My car definitely stands out more where I live than in other places where you other members live.

My assumption is that you have your car serviced at a Nissan store then...?

Yep, my local Nissan dealership does all my service and warranty work (though brake pad replacement is the only warranty work I have required).

Is it just me, or are we just not comparing apples to apples? The 335I seems like it will be a sweet ride. The driving characteristics of the BMW are quite nice. The interior. Not my cup of tea. engine. Solid. The reliability. Umm, not great. But anyway. A well equiped 335 vs a well equiped G35. I think end of the day you are looking at $7,500 difference. Both companies offer pretty agressive lease deals. So, I think you are looking at an extra $150/mo. for the Bimmer? That's a lot of coin in my book.

It all depends on what you value in a vehicle; and what you’re willing to part with every month for [x] time based on that value premise. I have driven the 335i: it is a spectacular machine and it is everything it is advertised to be IMO - I also do not like the interior of the 335i as well.

However, I cannot compare the 335i to the new G for I have yet to drive it.

I am not sure we can trust your opinions since you're are so blatantly biased against the G but for the bmw. I initially had heat blowing to the driver area problem but after awhile I kind of learn how to live with it. You though can't seem to get past it. Sure I would love to buy the 335 but 8K and reliability issue kind of make me think twice.

Can you trust my opinion? Because I agree with RLampke entirely. Oh, and fwiw the reliabilty thing, as usual, is being overstated. Us Infiniti fans need to take a look at the number of recalls and TSBs out on the G before we go throwing stones.

I'm not going to argue about who is more reliable or which is a better car since it's subjective. I saw my first 335i coupe outside of Kalamazoo yesterday and the car is stunning. I hated it in pictures but pictures almost never do anything justice. BMW did a good job with the flowing, muscular lines with this particular edition. The front fascia is just flat out mean. I found myself glancing in the rear view mirror a couple of times to analyze it. I can only imagine it drives as good as it looks.
