I called to get some warranty work scheduled the other day - slave cylinder, headliner rattle, steering wheel, etc. They said the steering wheel was most likely due to the grease on the prior owner's hands, but they'd look at it.

BS. If they don't fix it when I take it in I'll escalate it.

Got mine changed with no problems, they also changed the door pulls without even being asked.

I guess bs Canadian Dealers do not see this as an issue of infiniti quality... they blamed previous owner for my steering wheel as well. They said the previous owner probably tried to clean the steering wheel with something he/she shouldn't!!
I might try to call the infiniti customer service as well.
So still no Canadians are successful in this issue here?

Trim only comes as part of the entire wheel to the tune of $1000 or so. Cant buy it separately, I've tried.

Warranty is warranty. I was the second owner as well and had the work done.

Repost but just FYI:

Took my car in for a bunch of little problems the other day and got it back 2 days later from Grubbs on Airport. Told my service guy all of the problems I'd been having:
Steering wheel cracking/ warping
front left and right door trip chipping
manual shifter not downshifting in d/s mode
windows squeaking and rolling down slowly
headlights foggy
right door speaker rattle

here's what they did for me, it speaks for itself:

I've only had to take my car in for service a couple of times, but when I do Grubbs always takes care of me. No hassle or questions asked. +1 for them.
