After 2 hours later, not only they replaced everything mentioned above, they replaced the pads and rotors (Fronts Driver/Passenger) after telling them of moderate to severe vibrations when applying brakes. I was expecting them to turn the rotors and replace the pads. Service Manager stated the vibration issue has been reported on TSB, which means FREE replacements!
Just out of curiosity, which dealership was this at in norcal?

Wish I lived in NorCal. Dealerships around here you have to fight for EVERYTHING.

I expect part of the positive results here is the fact that there are just so many dealerships in such close proximity to one another here.I think there's at least a dozen dealerships within 75 miles of me, and probably 8 with 50 miles and 4 or 5 within 25 miles. It inevitably makes them more competitive for your business and hence, generally more accommodating to the customers.

I am waiting on my dealer to get back to me about my steering wheel. I have about 35k miles on my 07 and everytime I call she asks me to call back next week. Ugh... She claims that she is waiting on the Infiniti Rep to stop by so he can give the OK.... Not sure how true that is. I'll give it another week.

Side Note, The steering wheel posted above looks like it has lighter colored stitching than I have on my car now. Is it just me?

How bad are these steering wheels when they are replaced? I bought my 08 sedan about a month ago and the steering wheels rubber trim can be scratched off with my nail. I'm about to bring it in and ask them to fix the slow moving driver window and replace the steering wheel.

I can be wrong but I think this only affects 07 G35's... or should I say mostly 07's...

I have an 08.. and no scratches on my steering wheel...but then again, I don't purposely sctracth it with my nails....

It was peeling off already when I bought it and I touched it with my finger/nail and noticed that it COULD be peeled off with my nail.

Take it to the dealer and see what they say.. From keeping up on this thread.. some had no problems.. and some had problems getting it replaced.. In Canada they won't.....
