that was a pretty quick fizzle

Seems like someone thought a small amount of effort by posting a couple of threads would create enough hype to make some sales...

Should be obvious, it takes more than that...

Especially when you are talking about a $400 intake. You gotta make people feel confident they are getting their money's worth.

and to think they were so close, they sparked our interest but could not follow up with realworld unbiased dynos. Its a shame because it looked like a good product but $$

I Hope Motordyne launches an intake setup soon

Thanks I found those same threads when I searched as well. But didn't seem like their was any new info. And half those are from my350z, and yeah I looked at those too. But thanks for the links.

I followed almost all the threads when that intake first popped up... from what I can tell it was a quick blast from insiders to drum up biz and no one ever did any real world testing to determine value... I was turned off by the fact that some very basic, but critical info was not provided by vendor/manufacturer and the hype fizzled quickly (you can pretty much get the gist of it by reading those threads - which you apparently already have).

When a new product is hyped - then fizzles quickly, I don’t bother considering the product... Similar to Pulse Plugs.

Good luck with your search though.

I think that sums it about right. I really liked the look of the intake pipe. Oh well better to know it now. Thanks.

Don’t let me discourage or dissuade you... I'm only one opinion.

It just seems to be a here today gone tomorrow thing (or in this case, here a few months ago, gone already thing).

I was interested enough to consider it… maybe there is value???...
