Personally, I don't like getting the plastic that hot.
I do 220 deg for 7 mins and never had a problem. It's just a little tricky the first time.

^^I might set it at 220 deg next time, since it didn't come off with 200 deg.

Also when putting it back together do i need to use anything to put it back together or will it just snap back on after i take it out the oven again.
Also when you go to pull the lense off, start at the bottom (this applies to both sedans and coupes...especially 06^ coupes). The top point of the headlight lense is slightly set into the housing at that spot so pulling up from the bottom makes it easier. I should probably add that to the DIY huh

Also too add my 2 cents I used a swiss army knifes bottole opener to cut the goo then used a pry used for interior trim worked 10x better than the screw driver and took a lot less work

I painted mine with krylon gloss black because. I'm not a matte fan and I also used clear coat and they look just as pappas do gloss and matte aren't a big difference because of the shine from the lens I would use the matte that pappa used my cars black to begin with so the gloss just goes better for me any other color than black I would use matte paint as recommended

Yah, I will probably stick with that since i painted my vacuum cover matte black n it came out clean.lol. Just to practice. The guy at kragens gave me Duplicolor sandable primer flat black n he said you don't need to buy a another flat black since this one already has it. Should i just buy the Duplicolor bump coating flat black to give it that matte finish.

I used the duplicolor low-gloss black engine enamel (because that's what I had handy) and it's really easy paint to work with.

There a difference in color between the sandable primer and bumper coating. The bumper coating is a darker black and looks a lot better than just the primer IMO.

Paintworldinc.com can put your paint in a can and send it to you. I used them on a couple of my car projects. Primer, clear, you name it. Plus they use professional quality atomizer nozzles that spray a flat stream instead of a cone stream. Look them up.
